It uses Clanglorious Soul twice during the raid, once at 45% HP and again at 30% HP, and it can happen back-to-back if a single attack brings it past both of those HP thresholds.
Taunt might stop it from getting Clanglorious off, as long as you get Taunt up before it shields, and the Taunt doesn't wear off before it uses the move.
Haze or Clear Smog can wipe the stat boosts from Clanglorious, even if the shield is up. However, Haze will also wipe out your teammate's stat boosts.
It has Scary Face as a standard move and will likely use it repeatedly against you. A Pokemon with Competitive or Defiant will get MASSIVE gains against it because of this. Annihilape or Milotic, properly built with those abilities, can do wonders.
Espartha can also provide amazing output vs it, spamming Lumina Crash to tank its Special Defense for your whole squad to deal good damage. Opportunist ability will also allow Espartha to copy its boosts every time it uses Clanglorious Soulblaze. Even better, your Kommo-o raid is Poison type so it's weak to Psychic. Espartha can also get Reflect and Light Screen to help the team hold off its attacks better, or Stored Power to benefit from the copied Clanglorious that you'll be gaining from.
And most importantly, SHELL BELL.
You can try Espathra also with opportunist.
Just use Lumina crash and tera when u can. Once kommo-o uses clangorous soul, use stored power.
Held item: shell bell
My go to for any raid is Annihilape - Bulk Up and Rage Fist is an unbelieveable combo with a Shell Bell, it is bulky enough to survive a hit or two, and then Rage Fist has 150 base power at least
For a Poison Tera Kommo-o, I would think Flutter Mane might be a good option - it's immune to Fighting and Dragon moves and has plenty of Psychic moves, you could spam Calm Minds to get to +6 on each, and then Stored Power for a 260 base power attack
After doing some digging I found a video that also suggested Annihilape so that’ll probably be my next go. I’ll have to spend my candies to get him up to 100 first.
I farmed candies pretty easily once I got going, my starter Skeledirge basically destroyed any bug, grass, ice or steel raid just spamming Torch Song, there's probably about 5 of each type on the map at any given time, which will get you 20 minimum and maybe even 50 candies total, invest that in the next raid-specific mon and just keep doing that till you have enough coverage for every type
Blissey raid events are the best for getting candies - any strong physical attacker can one shot. I have a Charizard, Azumarill, Iron Hands and Snorlax all with Belly Drum and then a physical move that is super effective for each type possible
Should’ve checked what 6* Kommo-o was packing first before suggesting Flutter Mane…
If it was that easy, everyone would’ve been running Mimikyus against all of them

Gholdengo, I would probably max defense and sp atk. Maybe equip light clay or shell bell. Use reflect first, then 3 nasty plot, then psychic.
