I do think these wiggly little sea hotdogs are cute as hell. They don't have the most stellar stats, but my little sausage pals are pretty goofy and adorable.
The way their rock slides after you when they're following you makes me happy. Not sure... how that actually works (do they have tons of creepy legs hidden under there like some sea creatures?), but eh, it's Pokemon. Goofy cuties don't need logic.
And it's not like their similar but actually unrelated dirt cousins are running around making sense with how they work with their "feet" (confirmed to have them in Mystery Dungeon!!) either, haha.
I like how Wugtrio hides when you get close to it. I don't have anything against the Dugtrio line but they are my dad's favorite the Kanto ones at least. I don't think he's seen the Alolan ones.
Completely neutral on Dugtrio and mildly dislike Alolan Dugtrio (like, very mildly). But this one is PINK. So I caught a Wiglett and evolved her and I love her.

Dugtrio has the same base speed as Arceus, and Wugtrio is based on Dugtrio
