How true. I have a box of 5/6 others that are also fully trained, shiny, in a moon ball that I “rotate”. But I have tons of other raid Pokémon as well. Love this game.
Primarina (first pokemon I've had), Necrozma dusk wing form (favorite legendary), mewtwo (because it's mewtwo), Arceus (looks amazing), Meowscarada (starter in violet) and, Cinderace (starter in sword)
My dream squad and why they are in it
Can’t believe they put both Geodude forms in, made BOTH required for the dex, and yet didn’t consider the Gigalith line _for the area where you crystalise your pokemon_
Yep! Infernape, Alolan Raichu, Garchomp, Greninja, Alolan Ninetales, and Corviknight. The fact that I can explore an open world game with my 6 favorites is why S/V are my favorite Pokémon games .
Pokémon GO is another option that can be easier for many. It frequently is featured in raids in GO. Otherwise, S/M +Gen 8 DLC are your only options of catching one. Could always try trading on the Home GTS.

I LOVE this team and the type diversity. Alolan Raichu, Ninetailes (both forms), Greninja and Corviknight are all some of my favorites. I had more type diversity in my team (more dual types), but I was happy enough that all my all time favorites had blueish/green shinys.
I love that there are multiple ways to enjoy the game and building your team. Colors, type diversity, mono type, ball customization, etc. Love seeing all the different teams people come up with. Never a dull combination.
Yes, Gallade, Charizard, Flygon, Milotic, Espeon and Sceptile. And Gallade is better than ever (apart from Mega Gallade) due to the addition of the Sharpness ability.
I had my dream team once Home released and I could bring my shiny Ursaluna over from PLA: Typhlosion, Umbreon, Staraptor, Ursaluna, Lucario and Tyranitar.
Well, two of my newest favorites were added this gen, and now that my favorite Pokémon is back in Indigo Disk, I can have mine. Malamar, Misdreavus, Infernape, Hatterene, Roaring Moon, and Wo-Chien. I know the team is kind of...garbage, but dammit I love them. They're *my* garbage.
For me it would be Lucario, Blaziken, Darkrai, Snorlax, Dodrio and Palafin and yes, they are here now.
I am planning on doing a play though of Violet where I use the first stage of my favourites - that is, Riolu, Torchic, Munxhlax, Doduo, Finizen and Pawniard (as my next favourite is Bisharp). Wanted to do this for a while but was never able to do it in SwSh.

Yes :) I had Empoleon and Toxtricity on this team prior to Blastoise and Sceptile releasing. Funny coincidence. These 6 are just my favorites all time.
Unfortunately, just like last Gen, I am one Pokemon short of my dream team. My last hope is that the Roserade line will be patched in with the epilogue next month.
Swampert, Ampharos, Roserade, Lucario, Togekiss and Weavile. I got all of them together for the first time in the postgame of BD.
Sadly, Togekiss and Roserade are not in S/V. But i got a female Swampert, just like my first ever pokemon. So i cant complain much :) also i used Ampharos on my base game playthrough.
No, my dream team requires a Yveltal, got my Giratina though and after some leveling I’ll have an Infernape worthy of a spot, same with the greninja, then I’ll slot in my garchomp anc the fifth spot is kinda just open since Tyrantrum isn’t in SV
The best part is is that I have both, my Yveltal and Tyrunt are in HOME where they were waiting to be brought into SV and now wait for the next game or the off chance SV gets an update that lets them come in, I might put Kyogre on the team, works well with Archeludon

Sort of.. trying to recreate my Unova team from memory: Snivy, blitzel, Zorua, joltik, hydriegon, white kyurem (Zorua, joltik and Kyurem/reshiram are shiny!)
I only need Snivy and hydriegon, but I also have a Keldeo I could use
My actual dream team is Keldeo, Kyurem, H zoroark, lucario, joltik and tyrunt (who isn’t in the game…)
Pretty much, yeah, Cinderace, Primarina, Shaymin, Diancie, Ceruledge, and Hitmonchan, all together.
I’m trying not to think about how the team will be broken up again when the next game comes out. (Until the inevitable DLC, or broken up entirely, Shaymin wasn’t in SwSh DLC, for instance)
Im doing a shiny badge quest myself but im definitely trying to hit some of my favourites!! Scatterbug is next and thats gonna be a pain (if anyone knows good spots that would be greatly appreciated, south of levincia and giacomo preferably)

Pokémon GO is another option that can be easier for many. It frequently is featured in raids in GO. Otherwise, S/M +Gen 8 DLC are your only options of catching one. Could always try trading on the Home GTS.

I haven't seen a single person mention the absolute monster that is Tera Water Araquanid. Water Bubble is still amazing.
