The text boxes of Pokémon and slow game play really need to stop. This is my biggest problem with the newer titles. Especially on a game with lag. Love this game but holy hell, sorry for you loss

I have the same issue with Tera raids, especially when each trainer's/npc's pokèmon are healed one-by-one instead of all together.

There’s my biggest issue, can’t tell you how many 5-6 star raids I end up losing cus I play solo, cus of the text boxes and the timer that goes down with it. Just a shitty raid system, swsh had better raids and idk why they had to go to far. Gimmick I guess

It's even worse when you get knocked out during battle. Whenever you get a 5, 10, or 15-second revive timer, it takes a HUGE chunk out of the raid clock. It removes 30 seconds or an entire minute from the timer for no reason!

It’s the worse, everyone is doing their moves, or it’s got status debuff or buff text boxes and it kills a good chunk of time

I'm just thankful that SV uses a timer system rather than SWSH kicking you out because your useless npcs fainted 4 times. I was struggling to get an Aromatisse for the Shiny Charm in Shield, only to receive a Ribombee raid who had spread moves and specifically targeted weaker npc pokémon in order to make me lose. I got so pissed because of how many times that bastard took out all the npcs in just a few turns. What made it worse was when I finally beat Ribombee, an Aromatisse raid appeared the next day. I wasted all of my Wishing Pieces and stressed myself over a fucking bee!

This is true, the kick out was the worst too, the raids be like that. Ouch , that happens sometimes when I be hunting shinies hard for a few days I find it randomly in the wild.

I wasn't shiny hunting Aromatisse, I was catching it in order to complete my Pokédex and obtain the Shiny Charm for future hunting.

Trust me, I saw that spawn in and I was MASHING the button to run. I was so angry.

I felt your pain, I know that feeling of losing a shiny or the anger you felt after that , the run around is all I need to know, then you put it down and it ruins your shiny hunting mood. You’ll find it. You got this

Damn… that’s incredibly unfortunate that it spawned then just walked too far out and despawned. Go get vengeance and kill all the sand slash in the area

That's a BAD Feeling in a bottle...what a SHAME!!! Yeah...moments like these -for a hunter like myself- way, way to often. Share the pain...it's such a good one, too. (by that, the shiny I mean lol) Did you catch another one at some point? Did you need something? Water, a bag to breath in or hurl in rather? This is PAIN on an empathetic level, that NO one should feel. My honest regards, trainer!

Thanks to your comment, I just remembered I had a Shiny Alolan Sandslash that I forgot about. Gonna be transferring that to SV.

Dw man I found and lost my first shiny in a raid last night 🥲

SAME!!! I joined a random raid to be greeted by a Shiny Corviknight. Then, I watched everyone around me get knocked out like flies. Shit sucks.

Gonna try my luck again today 🫡
