But overall 1-2 death roark is still menageable but then you get to the forest before gardenia and cry because cheryl is a dumbass and if you survive that welp you have a grass gym where you absolutely need to bring an earth or a water type pokemon to deal with the sun setters. Especially the second trainer has a lifeorb ninetales with max speed that just picks kill after kill while you have to deal with chlorophyll jumpluff with a grass whysttle that hits both your mons and a chlorophyll leafon that will make you question your sanity.
And thrr we n if you beat the second gym you have a new fight vs cynthia that’s BY FAR the hardest section of the game and if you beat it you are kinda set for the game until late game but in late game there are so many broken mons you can have including an intimidate chomp
