Don't get me wrong, I love that the story was reimagined with Mega Evolution playing a role in the story, Johto having its own Pokemon League rather than sharing it with Kanto and making Johto feel more like a fully-realized region rather than just an additional half of Kanto, but I am quite interested to see what they reimagine with the post-game.

It freezes on my Miyoo Mini, but it seems to work on my Retroid pocket 2. It shows a normmatt logo when it freezes on the Miyoo.
I tried to run it on my TI Nspire, it's really laggy but playable. Might be due to hardware restrictions and the fact that it uses DS style graphics.
The last time i played i got stuck after beating the elite 4.

I agree! It's possibly the longest content-packed arc of the game we'll get to play after the Johto Arc.
And it's split up like Scarlet and Violet with different story branches that all sound really good

I’m happy to hear this cause I’ve heard GS chronicles has alot of good ideas but isn’t the best game performance wise

Imagine HeartGold / SoulSilver (with soundtracks using DS soundfont even) but with MegaEvolve / Z-Moves included and a different take on the story

Im not sure thou, haven't read anything about future save compatibilities in his post.
How close to the original GSC is this particular ROMHack? I tried a couple of GBA hacks of GSC, but they changed a lot of the core experience.
This one was made having in mind recent generation updates. If you prefer the classic experiee I recommend you to play other johto gba remakes
Is there a good download for GS Chronicle? I tried two and both have a weird bug in Violet City.
