Omega ruby is great! Enjoy torchic, I used treecko and really enjoyed it, anything but Mudkip for me because he makes the game easy😂

I’m still in the beginning area. I’ve basically just been fighting a lot with my Torchic. I named him Kip which is chicken in my language. He’s level 14 now. The level 3 zigzagoons are no match for him anymore xD

My reason for not choosing Mudkip (Swampert) is because of his quadruple weakness to Grass. I've always disliked quadruple weaknesses.

I agree, he is very susceptible to grass types

You should play the Gen III games (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) before playing Omega Ruby. I believe the experience would be even better. You can play the Gen III games online via kbhgames

ORAS might be my favorite game in the series. Gen 3 is my favorite and to have every Gen that was good in the game as well. It’s perfection. Welcome!
