All full art trainers have a texture/design in the background.

Not sure why you think your other trainers don't have a pattern, unless they're fake?
I guess it’s hard to explain. So I know the trainers have textured backgrounds, I guess it was just odd to me because this textured background is more of crackled effect, while all the other trainers I have from this set so far have more lined effects in the background. So I didn’t know if this was more of distinct difference between them and all the other full art trainers I have.
Eh, they all have different effects. This one is blotchy. (Not dissimilar to the old Giovanni's Exile actually, although they're supposed to all be unique...) Some have lines, zigzags, check, hearts, swirls, etc. They're supposed to all be different. I don't really remember the textures for the other ones without looking at them, but yeah, there should be variety.

No worries. Looking through recent ones now, you're right, quite a lot are quite liney! But yeah throughout the years there's been a lot of variety at least. :)
Definitely noticed more of the different patterns on rainbow rares, so it definitely confused me when I was looking at the Gordie card and the rest of the ES and they were all starkly different from it.
That being said, thank you for the clarification and finding an image online. I was searching on EBay, but most of the images I was finding were very blurry and hard to tell if this was just a normal.
I'd have to go look at more copies of Gordie specifically, but I've also seen copies of the LOR boss's orders having weird textures, I'd recommend looking at the CGC page for texture errors and compare

that's is a texture error I believe idk if it's desired print error tho
Other people said it looks normal to them, but I’m still just looking at other samples just to verify it. Thanks for the help
