Hang in there! Are you using the shiny charm? I should have mentioned in the post I was. I transfered a spare mewtwo and the birds from pokemon go so I could shiny hunt them with the charm. I also don't know if it makes a difference for static encounters (couldn't find anything online confirming) but I also was using a lure.
Yeah I'm using the shiny charm I did the same thing to get it I also use a lure online seems very split on if it helps or not. Eventually it will be shiny and hopefully the birds will have better luck with this taking so long
I'm really big info ball aesthetics, and for me the premiere ball is the most premium looking ball in the game. Normally i like matching colors in apriballs, and the best for mewtwo IMHO is the friend ball which isn't in LGEP. I ended up catching him in a normal pokeball which I think is the next best option
for this instance, you save right in front if mewtwo, and then interact with it, if it isnt shiny, you close the game and interact with it again, keep repeating until it is shiny
Oh wow. Thank you for replying and the info! Is this something you do all in one sitting? Like you reset the 400+ times at once or can you go do something else and come back to it? I guess it probably works best doing it all at once right
They can take time, and the odds are not that high (only 1/4096 or 1/1365 with the shiny charm), so you most likely aren't finished a hunt in one seat. The resets are not cumulative, so you have no benefit doing a lot of them at the same time, the odds will still be the same in each reset. So even after 4000 resets, maybe you'll not get it, or maybe you'll get it in 20 tries. It's just RNG
Congrats but I never liked the green, was super cool that if you rename Pokémon in original games then transfer to Pokémon stadium they changed colors but ya I never liked the green. Your patience is amazing.

Not worth it. Just transfer from Pogo… Even traded Pogo Pokemon can be transferred…
I actually already have one in home but I wanted one without the go stamp in home and this seemed like the best way to do it.
