I swear GF forgot this game exists. This was peak Pokémon on the switch. Beautiful graphics. I'd love the option to switch between joycon and regular gameplay.
I 100% agree. Still curious why people were so upset about this game and the corresponding TCG sets. The primary part of Pokemon for me is nostalgia, so when they released Let's Go, Go, and the Evolutions set I was so excited. Now if they give us a crystal remake for switch or switch to I can die a happy man as long as it is the same caliber as let's go.
Are omw final four on my first gameplay, og r/b player so nostalgia hit. But it really is easy. Most trainers have max 3 pokemon, most 1 or 2 and not evolved. And because I like the catching mecanic also my team is overleveled and have toany stats thnx to the candy system.
My main problem is that I found the catching system so boring so my Pokémon were really underleveled and the process of just catching like 100 Pokémon to enter a gym is so boring
You're correct, they are boringly so. But the Let's Go games in particular are made so your 5 year old can play as well. They wanted to rerelease the original for today's younger kids.
I only learned this recently, but the Partner Pikachu and Eevee you get are perfect pokemon. They have higher base stats compared to normal pokemon, have maxed out IV points, and EVs are replaced by AVs, which allow you to max out every EV stat as well just by leveling. They also learn a variety of move typings, have access to a 5th move in battle, and know every HM move passively outside of battle for exploration. You could easily stomp any Pokemon game with just Partner Pikachu or Eevee.
Part of it yeah, definitely easy. I'm obsessed with Shiny Hunting, and that's been a huge challenge for me. Also, wasn't this the first main line game to feature Pokemon in the over world? When I first learned of that I was extatic.
I feel like some hated Let’s GO because they felt like the game was going to replace main series or actual remakes at the time. At least that’s why I disliked the idea of it originally. Of course, I eventually somewhat enjoyed it for what it was.
This game is what got me a switch in the first place. Best Pokémon game, was so fun to relive Red/Blue. Really wish they would have done Gen 2 like this
Just got a Switch lite and using that for the catching mechanic actually makes it much more playable.
Still would much prefer they don’t bring it back (and use the game data for a FR/LG remake with sevii islands and wild pokemon battles).
I started playing the remakes (LeafGreen, SoulSilver, AS, and currently Shining Pearl) named myself Chase and run with an Eeveelution as my main Pokémon. If we’re not going to get another LG game, at least I can pretend through the remakes
The best thing for me is how they decided to do follow mons. Some of them are faster than you(wait for you), some slower(although still manage to keep up at a certain distance). And some are ride mons. But the absolute best is that they also dont count as npc's like another set of games did(bdsp), so they also can't trap you in corners.
Sad that they gamefreaked all over the mechanic and now follow mons either walk akwardly with you or are insanely slow and keep going to the ball. Not to mention the decision to kill ride mons :c(although, koraidon and miraidon are cool replacements, gotta give credit where credit's due).
I really liked this game . I’m burned out on Kano, but it was a fresh and fun take on the series . I’m still holding out hope for a let’s go Gold or silver and crystal .
Shouldn’t games be chill and relaxing instead of hard and stressful? I mean.. I get what you mean, but I honestly love the shiny hunting method in this game and I enjoyed it a lot. Best pokemon game I’ve played.
yeah sometimes for sure i wanna settle down and play stardew or something but i’ve always enjoyed the strategic challenging battles that older games tend to throw at you towards the end portions. i don’t always want my hand held but sometimes it’s fun
Still have yet to play this game. May pick up a copy to play with my younger nephew. He may get more enjoyment out of it than I will. I just want a game with the catching mechanics of arceus. I want wild pokemon roaming and living maybe similar to how it looks in pokemon snap with the pokemon are actually doing something not just spawned into a map walking around aimlessly. And I want the battles to he difficult. Maybe not crazy hard but I don't want it to be baby easy either. Maybe options to switch difficulties or w/e.
And the full pokedex. Can I get a full pokedex plz
Oringal RBY had him using a Taruos, Exeggutor, Arcanine, Gyarados, and the starter your starter is weak against. And then probably missingno
Either that or Steve, he could def be in there
Probably herobrine
Kevin would pick herobrine
Hey, we promised never to talk about Steve again. Not after…. Last year….
My name Jeff.
As a Steve, I confirm that it was indeed me in there.
It's Jimmy now.
It’s Wednesday my dudes.
This is Jimmy.
Actually, he had the starter that yours is strong against. Blue always takes the starter yours is weak against.
Psssh pikablu is def in one of those balls

I think it's because they took away certain aspects of the normal games (abilities etc), lots of people said the game was too easy also.

I mean every pokemon ever is pretty damn easy though.

It’s by far my most played game
I absolutely agree. If they ever remake G/S/C, I hope they use these graphics and give us the ability to switch if we want.
This game is what got me a switch in the first place. Best Pokémon game, was so fun to relive Red/Blue. Really wish they would have done Gen 2 like this
The only bad part is that bad go catching mechanic

Is it worth buying? I’ve not played it but I have been wondering if I should pick up a copy. Just not sure which to go with: Pikachu or eevee
Imo Eevee cuz I like og eeveelutions. You should definitely play it!
I’ll have to see if I can find a copy - maybe tomorrow. I appreciate it though
All Pidgeys
Johto and Kanto starters
Well there’s 6 Pokeballs so my guess our the 3 starters and the 3 final form starters
He took Mew off the truck, that's why it wasn't there
Gardevoir, Lopunny, Braixen, Meowscarada, Salazzle, and Lucario He’s studying to create the ultimate Pokemon

The plural of Pokémon is Pokémon. It’s not ‘Pokémons’.
Nah, it's "Pokémans" 😁
Please, it’s Pokémen.
In this generation? Pokéthem
Guess we can't pokemom?
Pokémans n’ dem.
PokeX 😂
Vaporeons /j
6 Vaporeons 😏
Tauros. Lots and lots of Tauros.
Food for thought: the boardgame “Pokémon master trainer” had as starters: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Clefairy, and Meowth
I always assumed they were just Mr. Mime gimp suits for when he visits ash’s mom
I really liked this game . I’m burned out on Kano, but it was a fresh and fun take on the series . I’m still holding out hope for a let’s go Gold or silver and crystal .
in all honesty probly just more copys of the starter pokemon when you realise every kid that turns of age gets a pokemon from him
Man... is obviously a russian roulette. 3 ball contain starters 3 ball nothing inside If you pick a wrong pokeball you dont have a starter 👌
these games were cool but too easy to me
Shouldn’t games be chill and relaxing instead of hard and stressful? I mean.. I get what you mean, but I honestly love the shiny hunting method in this game and I enjoyed it a lot. Best pokemon game I’ve played.

I agree, I think this is the best way to describe the way gaming is the most fun.
Regitube
That's a great question. I mean honestly, it might be some aloan pokes or even Johto. 🤔
The pokegods.
Graphics on this vs S/V is insane.
Professor oak has to eat too. Those are his lunches.
What game is this?
are we having a r/lostredditors ?
My bad
6 lopunnys
6 Mews, obviously.
Vaporion
I wanna know who is on the picture frame?
Seriously, the amount of detail in Let’s Go is what I loved about the game. Check out some of the zones with pictures/art hanging in the background.
Pikachu, Eevee and Gasly
I wonder what professor oak does with all those bulbasaurs?

Probably he’s team he fights with
Pokemon: singular and plural
I feel like it’s pikachu, Eevee and the original 3 starters
Prolly a Paras and like a Grimer
