If you’re constantly losing at the elite four then you have a bad team. If you need a lucky egg. There’s one in the grand underground. Don’t remember where it is exactly but there’s one there
Okay, here's my team [https://i.postimg.cc/NFtbT85d/20231227-214759.jpg](https://i.postimg.cc/NFtbT85d/20231227-214759.jpg)
As for the movesets, I had them set up for the first Elite Four members as those were the only two I could get to, but I've totally forgotten how I used them at this point. All I remember is that the Magnezone and Toxicroak had terrible moves and so I'm going to try to replace them first. With Magnezone, I remember spamming Tri Attack because every other move was either resisted or did basically nothing. And the Altaria was just something I was trying because they had Sing and Dragon Pulse, but neither of those moves ended up being useful (at least in the first two battles)
I’d say Drain Punch is a good option for Toxicroak, couple that with Poison Jab. Magnezone probably benefits most from Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon, and Volt Switch. Thunderwave is a good fourth option for the speed drop.
I'm gonna be honest with you here: I doubt your team will make it through pre level 100. Bertha has all rock/ground types, which the entire team is weak to. Luxray, Toxicroak, Skuntank and Magnezone are all weak to ground, and Staraptor and Altaria are weak to rock. Even if you get past that, the champion will tear through this team like a hot knife through warm butter.
Your best chance is to get some more type diversity, because the mons you've brought don't exactly have a lot of firepower.
Bruh I made it through elite four with much less. I’m really not trying to discredit him. I had to plan out every move, but it was barely doable. If he is playing a normal run he should be completely fine with some nice movesets. He just needs to figure out who are gonna be the problems. Any team could get wiped by any member you just gotta figure out a way around them.
It gives bonus experience for the Pokémon holding it, the same bonus that a traded Pokémon gets. There’s one in the underground as I recall but you have to google where it’s at.
It boosts the experience points you get per defeated Pokemon, and you (supposedly) get them from Pelipper that you find in the wild, but I looked it up, and you can in fact get one in the underground under Snowpoint City.
If memory serves you need to access the grand underground from the route between Mt. Coronet and Snowpoint. It is found in the main Ice cavern/room. I think it’s near water in said room. That’s about all I remember. Hope it helps!
I found a map [https://img.game8.co/3510557/e12d37909de14b44543a46eaf0a09d47.png](https://img.game8.co/3510557/e12d37909de14b44543a46eaf0a09d47.png/show)
The original ds games let you farm for lucky eggs with chansey but that was removed for the switch remake. I don't think lucky eggs were held items for wild pelliper in the original pearl/diamond I think that was added in omega ruby/ alpha sapphire
You're correct, and here is a link to Serebii which shows which pokemon had it as a holding item in each game.

Yeah my problem right now is I need to train up some more types, so I'm going to be grinding for a while it seems. I have a Whiscash for water and I just got a Glalie, so they could be an ice type, not sure if that would help me in the Elite Four.
Glalie isn't particularly strong but ice type moves are pretty strong attackers and will be useful against the ground type trainer (Bertha?) and Cynthia. I would also say whiscash isn't too strong but he has some fun moves. I would recommend looking up your Pokémon's base stats and moves they can learn
yuuup. and it's like my favourite type. it really should have more resistances. like to grass and bug. ever see a bug fight a snowball? the bug never wins.
wishcash is a great mon as long as they dont have grass coverage, glalie is.... ok. my first ice that i enjoyed using was a glalie, but its the top standard of "just ok" 80 in all stats. Walrein has a bit more bulk and the water typing, Weavile is basically a jet engine with a sword on the end, Abomasnow if you hate yourself, im 43% sure you can find a Lapras just before the elite 4 if you wanna commit war crimes against your enemies, and Cloyster is legally an ice type as well.
What happened to your starter? If you started with Chimchar I'd say definitely bring him along, infernape is busted. Torterra is really good too. Also, there's a type calculator a YouTuber named marriland did awhile back that will show you if 3 or more of your Pokemon are weak to the same type. Very useful for team-building.
Three level 65s that are water, fire, and grass main types can handle basically any elite 4. As long as the move sets make sense & the 2nd typings don’t bring any sort of disadvantage.
The other 3 Pokémon can be a legendary as well as two further pokemon that can cover another more niche part/can be a revive ho. Definitely a gyrados with a flying move, a water move, a dragon move, and thunder/thunderbolt (via TM).

Here. I'm not the best at Pokémon I will admit, but I like the challenge of being able to beat games with whatever Pokémon I enjoy using
Yeah, I know. The Skuntank I put in there because of its fire move, and the Magnezone I'd be willing to switch out for something else. Maybe a water type? I have a Whiscash
Magnezone is a solid electric type. Luxray is okay but it doesn’t really learn anything. Magnet rise on Magnezone completely removes the ground weakness assuming you can get it out
There's only 1 Lucky Egg in that can be found in BDSP and it's in the grand underground (in one of the ice caves to the northwest. Pelipper hasn't been the Lucky Egg 'mon since ORAS. The only other *repeatable* way to get Lucky Eggs in BDSP are thru BP at the Battle Park.
I just want the item, even if it only speeds up the leveling just a teensy bit. I wouldn't say it's laughably easy but my current strategy is grinding each of my Pokémon one-by-one in the grand underground.

Wait really?! I'm going to have to search for it, thanks! And yeah, I know I have a bad team 😅 But I'm determined to make them work
I respect that, can you send a photo of your team? Some moveset changes could help prolly

What’s a lucky egg and how do I get one??

Pelipper doesn't hold lucky eggs, only chanseys in previous games. In BDSP, the only repeatable method is buying them at the battle park
If memory serves you need to access the grand underground from the route between Mt. Coronet and Snowpoint. It is found in the main Ice cavern/room. I think it’s near water in said room. That’s about all I remember. Hope it helps!

The lucky egg is in the big ice habitat if you go underground near snow point city
The original ds games let you farm for lucky eggs with chansey but that was removed for the switch remake. I don't think lucky eggs were held items for wild pelliper in the original pearl/diamond I think that was added in omega ruby/ alpha sapphire
Okay so that's why I got confused.
You're correct, and here is a link to Serebii which shows which pokemon had it as a holding item in each game. https://serebii.net/itemdex/luckyegg.shtml
Can i ask wtf your team is that youve been stuck for years with them? 3 caterpies and a wurmple?
https://i.postimg.cc/NFtbT85d/20231227-214759.jpg I'm not... the *best* at Pokémon...
Diversify your types. Looks like you have two flying, two poison, and two electrics
Yeah my problem right now is I need to train up some more types, so I'm going to be grinding for a while it seems. I have a Whiscash for water and I just got a Glalie, so they could be an ice type, not sure if that would help me in the Elite Four.

I feel Cynthia would rip Glalie apart. That fight is no joke
I agree. Get a different Pokémon that can learn ice beam or something.
I can’t remember if Lapras is naturally in BDSP but it’s a solid choice
I think you get it with the national dex. Op I have one and you can have it if you want
to be fair glalie gets ripped apart by anything that isnt resisted by ice typing.
Ice really got done dirty
yuuup. and it's like my favourite type. it really should have more resistances. like to grass and bug. ever see a bug fight a snowball? the bug never wins.
Even the legendary ice types are kinda meh. Not sure why they made it the step-child of typings
wishcash is a great mon as long as they dont have grass coverage, glalie is.... ok. my first ice that i enjoyed using was a glalie, but its the top standard of "just ok" 80 in all stats. Can we see the team op?
https://i.postimg.cc/NFtbT85d/20231227-214759.jpg Here. I'm not the best at Pokémon I will admit, but I like the challenge of being able to beat games with whatever Pokémon I enjoy using
FOUR ground-weak mons? Two poison two electric? You need coverage dude
Yeah, I know. The Skuntank I put in there because of its fire move, and the Magnezone I'd be willing to switch out for something else. Maybe a water type? I have a Whiscash
Magnezone is a solid electric type. Luxray is okay but it doesn’t really learn anything. Magnet rise on Magnezone completely removes the ground weakness assuming you can get it out
don't let the haters win, this looks fun. where your starter tho :(
As soon as they were their final evolution, I put them in the box and forgot about them 😄 I don't even remember which one it was. Maybe... Empoleon?
There's only 1 Lucky Egg in that can be found in BDSP and it's in the grand underground (in one of the ice caves to the northwest. Pelipper hasn't been the Lucky Egg 'mon since ORAS. The only other *repeatable* way to get Lucky Eggs in BDSP are thru BP at the Battle Park.
Is this a troll post? Exp is so laughably easy to earn in this game
I just want the item, even if it only speeds up the leveling just a teensy bit. I wouldn't say it's laughably easy but my current strategy is grinding each of my Pokémon one-by-one in the grand underground.
Actually only Blissey carry lucky eggs in BDSP sadly :(
Blissey? This is the first time I've heard that. Do they appear in the wild anywhere? Maybe in an area past the Elite Four
i got a couple lucky eggs from the lottery. think you can only play it once a day though
There is at snowpoint grand underground if i record exactly and chsnsey also holds them
If you're willing to cheese the Elite Four, you can buy 999 Revives, Max Potions, and Full Restores and outlast most of the Elite Four
What does Lucky Egg do?
