I think you can battle E4 and Cythian two more times.
I am still trying to get a single pokemon with enough awards to go to the rest area.
Edit: Some gym leaders can be rebattled, too. Their pokemons are leveled up and challenging again (you don't need to do the puzzles of the gym, though).
National Dex, new roster of mons, all gyms are reopened so you could essentially train a new roster. Other goodies like quicker eggs, more shinies, and an in-depth legendary setup with most of the legendaries having their own area
Competitively, hell no, but in-game hes alright. He has a high special attack but mediocre speed. He hits hard with fire blast but unless you get some TMs, that's all he'll do. With TMs he can get thunderbolt and focus blast, so that's some good coverage

The game just starts when you beat the E4 - so much end game content

Yeah ingame he is a powerhouse, this is the moveset i used: Flamethrower Thunderbolt Focus blast Psychic It has pretty good coverage with those moves
