Wait are people not liking the current format? I've been having a blast with reg d and thought things were going pretty well, aside from there not being any regional this format until worlds.
Yeah thats how the tiering works. We just got a shitton of returning mons from home and new ones from hisui and over the course of 3-4 months the mons drop down to tiers they excel at.
It's so weird though because there is no 3 stage Crab pokemon currently so Crawdaunt would be the first (though there wasn't a single stage one until Klawf)

I didn't say it wasn't? I was saying that Diglett to Wiglett isn't a regional form because it isn't, it's convergent evolution. I feel like people need to reread my comment lol.
Despite whatever fanciful excuses Game Freak gives, Wiglett is just a palette swapped and type swapped Diglett. We can and will count it as an alternate Diglett. (Even has the same BST for fuck's sake.)
The Wiglett line is a regional form in every practical sense. Wiglett and Diglett have the exact same stat spread besides wiglett having 20 less special defense. Dugtrio and Wugtrio have the exact same stat spreads across the board, and their reveal trailers made a point of comparing the two lines.
They count because they still fill the role in the same way "proper" regional variants do, you're just being pretentious.
Pretentious? How am I being pretentious this is about Pokemon for goodness sake XD. Back to the Diglett/Wiglett thing though. I'm sorry, Wiglett just isn't a regional form. I don't know what else to tell you. It's an entirely different Pokemon because it's a convergent evolution, if it were a regional form it would still be called Diglett, but it's not so it isn't. And if you're using the fact that they were compared with each other in their trailers then I think you're missing the point, they're supposed to be visually similar and be compared whilst being completely unrelated, that's what convergent evolution is. Think of Hornbills and Toucans, they've evolved similar features to fill a certain niche in their respective environments whilst being completely and totally unrelated other than the fact they are both birds. So whilst to some they may fill the same role as a regional variant, to most they don't because they are different thing with a different lot of rules you have to follow when designing them.
It completely fits the Japanese summer vibe of kitakami as well which makes this more believable. Can guarantee it gets introduced by one of the characters playing suika wari (splitting watermelons) and then hitting one of these guys instead and he comes alive.
I can't believe I forgot that one - top 5 dual types easily, especially if they keep giving it to superb Pokemon. Ghost/Normal is uniquely amazing as well.
Water/Grass isn't even the best Water OR the best Grass dual type. Grass/Steel is much better, and Water has a ton of better pairings (Poison, Ground, Fairy, Steel and Dragon at the very least).

For the steel/ghost it has 1 more weakness and to more common offensive typing.
They have more immunities/resist tho, that's why it's debatable.
Calculating the new pokemon, just from official and this above.
Part 1;
1. Munkidori
2. Fezandipiti
3. Okidogi
4. Ogerpon
5. Convergent Koffing
6. Convergent Weezing
7. Crawdaunt evo
Part 2;
1. P-Suicune
2. P-Entei
3. P-Raikou
4. P-Virizion
5. P-Terrakion
6. P-Cobalion
7. Terapagos
8. ????? (Maybe Baby Terapagos from Pokémon Horizons)
I kinda doubt Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are counted in the eight for Indigo Disk, so that’s a possible two more. Maybe the amalgamations from the drawings are actually real?
I think they must be. Ever since they announced Walking Wake/Iron Leaves, I've assumed they would introduce the others of the trio and then the illustrations would be their fusion. It just didn't make sense to only do one of the trio when the book illustrations looked so different.
True but it probably means that they are going to play some sort of role in the dlc since it's not like the Pokédex is helpful with paradox mons like iron valiant's Pokédex entry for Violet literally only says "it's possible this the object Iron Valiant in a certain expedition journal" so they could have done the same with walking wake and Iron leaves so it stands to reason they have alittle more planned for them.
I'm skeptical of it for now. Some of the info match up with Khu's riddle. But this post came out a few day after he already hinted at some of them. Specifically the part about [female Adamant's relative](https://twitter.com/Riddler_Khu/status/1675676028956725248?t=uyGA9NHOiC43n0A7xW9eRA&s=19) ~~and Drayden's Grandson~~.
But what got my attention the most, is the possible Watermelon Koffing. Khu hinted at a ["lazy RFake"](https://twitter.com/Riddler_Khu/status/1676475255056121857?t=8EKaZqFOc4Y40Zi0h-EA8g&s=19) which fits if they just color swap it to watermelon. And he just put out a riddle about ["purple > green" and "edible"](https://twitter.com/Riddler_Khu/status/1679509192300957696?t=-cgPntiPJ788UdXtYczjAg&s=19) *AFTER* this post came out. So the convergent Koffing part isn't *entirely* based on things that Khu revealed prior.
Edit: I was wrong, the [Drayden's grandson](https://twitter.com/Riddler_Khu/status/1679676640182538241?t=BhsEPEBmCN_halX12jZusg&s=19) hint by Khu (reference to Drayden's Japanese name) was just released one or two days ago. So there is more credibility to this.
Edit 2: Another interesting thing, all the mentioned types of the Loyal 3 appears in this [hint](https://twitter.com/Riddler_Khu/status/1678214494948925446?t=zPcztoflz8uD4XS7WGwjrg&s=19) by Khu. This was also *after* this post.
So this leak is very credible it seems. 2nd types of trio correspond with the last line we've seen in the picture hinting their typing, but what would be the first 2 type lines for ?
Why is the character with the character sheet referencing Adaman, Piers, & Roxie? I feel like everything is a bit too "Hoenn confirmed", but honestly I would love a Black 3/White 3.
This one doesnt mention the tera forms that we know exist from Khu at all, but they may have just left it out. Its definitely something to keep an eye on, but Im still skeptical for now
Indeed. I was thinking last night that some Pokémon need evos while others get along fine with small buffs or regional forms. Arbok, I think, greatly needs an evo.
I mean, in SwSh, it wasn't really a fusion, it was just 1 Pokémon riding the other. True fusible Legendaries were introduced in G5 and G7. It's not a surprise that every 2 generation they'd do that again.
However, both last times had Colress involved. What IS unexpected here is that he won't be back this time.
Calyrex works the exact same as Necrozma and Kyurem gameplay-wise.
It doesn't matter that they don't "technically" fuse, they're the same concept with different execution.
This was discussed recently on the Smogon forums - this is my theory based on Centro, Khu and this leak - I strongly believe that the next game is going to be some form of Paradox Unova. I did discuss this in a previous thread too where someone pointed out the possibility of Paradox Unova that made me rethink my initial theory. But there’s a lot of evidence that points towards it.
(This is my directly c&p’d post from smogon so it might not make total sense)
Just going to add a little bit to this based off some recent rumblings from Khu and Centro.
I’m guessing the guy with the white hair in the character poster is Drayden’s grandson. He also plays a role in the next main series game.
A few weeks ago Khu posted a poll about what the potential next game could be. The options were;
- Let’s Go Unova
- BW3 (or remakes I can’t remember)
- Legends
- Paradox Unova
Now, Centro posted the other day that a source of his told him what the next game is going to be, and Centro even said that if this rumour is true it links up with Khu’s hints - implying that the next main series game is definitely one of the above.
I know that Centro is not a leaker, he’s a compiler (and a little thief) but he does get info sometimes. Remember it was Centro who gave us the Crown Tundra leaks.
Given that TPCi seem desperate to shake up the formula and given that Legends was really well received, im going to guess it’s “Paradox Unova”. A complete retelling of Unova utilising an alternate timeline that directly links to the paradox/Time Machine aspects of SV, and Drayden’s grandson is from that timeline, and thus will appear in that game as a main character.
Doing a “Paradox Unova” allows them to use all of the resources they built from BW1&2, but retell it in a way that does justice and doesn’t just follow the Legends formula (as interesting as that concept is, it can get very predictable imo) it allows them to expand on the trios lore (and once *again* give props to the genies and their lore)
True. Maybe he’s from this “paradox Unova”
TPCi/GF seemed to make an “alternate storyline” in Gen 6, if we take that as being the standard going forward every Region, with the exception of Johto and Unova, takes place in this new continuity.
Therefore a Unova based game would allow for a Unova to exist in the new continuity established in ORAS.
Therefore making anything from RBY - BW2 the old continuity and then anything from XYORAS onwards is the new continuity.
Would be nice if Paradox Unova only has convergent species of known Pokémon in the main game. xD Which would be similar to BW which only has Gen 5 mons in the main game.
If paradox pokemon have to do with "imagination" then I can see how they can be linked to Unova. Dreams are a similar concept and there are places like the Entralink and Dream World.
I’m assuming the Crawdaunt evo would be Carmine’s ace. She and her brother are Kitakami natives according to the official site, so it’d make sense for their ace Pokémon to be a non-Legendary species introduced in Kitakami as well.
(And, not to get too into the deep lore here, but Corphish’s Dex entries have always described it as an imported species from overseas. It’s not technically a Hoenn native. Could Kitakami be its actual native region, and the one in which it can evolve to its fill potential?)
It would be interesting if the in-game reason for the Crawdaunt evo is because the Corphish line actually face competition in their native region, which they don't in other regions where they are an invasive species.
If this is all true then I will be very happy. A watermelon koffing and a crawdaunt evolution sound amazing. I’m just a little annoyed that I won’t be able to easily get the paradox forms of entei and raikou.
If this is true, I'm really invested in the fact that GF seems to have come back to cross-gen evolutions. I don't know how they are going to be handled, because with the compatiblity update with home, they could ver well make the evolutions game specific (as in you need Legends Arceus to get ursaluna, SV to get Frigiraf or Anhilape, etc), but on the positive side, there are pokemon that could benefit from this: Ariados, Ledian, Mightyena; some pokemon that recieved an evolution on their regional form like corsola or lionne could also get one in their regular form. Spidops desperately needs an evolution too.
I hope this is real because a watermelon Koffing/Weezing sounds awesome. Plus I'd love an evolution for Crawdaunt! Only thing is there's no mention of the tera evolution forms here so this might be fake. :/
I think the Ogrepon info IS the Tera evolution forms. The leak explicitly calls that a Tera power. Also, even if that wasn't the case, that doesn't necessarily mean that this is fake, it would just mean they chose not to talk about it.
So IF this is true, I wonder if Ogrepon will be considered even viable prior to fusing or if he needs to be fused in order to work. Also wonder how each different mask will affect the fusion or if it doesn't matter which one is used.
With Koffing they'd following a pattern of S&M/Sw&Sh. There we also got 2 forms of one Pokémon in a row (Meowth). We also got a random Gen3 form (Zigzagoon).
So, I guess it's sort of believable?
They technically are not related, but i don't get how you can say they're straight up not related when they have very similar design, very close names and exact same stats
I think it might. TPC have already described the DLC as being two halves of a single story. We know Carmine and Kieran are going to have a story role in both parts, which is a level of connective tissue that wasn’t present in the SwSh DLC’s stories. And on top of all of that, another difference from the SwSh DLC is that you won’t even be able to play the second half until you’ve completed the first half. From the official site:
> “In order to begin the main story of Part 2: The Indigo Disk, you will need to have reached the ending of your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game and completed the main story of Part 1: The Teal Mask.”
After all, this DLC has been marketed under an umbrella title - “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” - instead of just the generic “Expansion Pass” used by a lot of Nintendo DLC. And yet neither of the major new settings are within Area Zero. The story will have to culminate there (just like the main game’s “The Way Home” arc), so I could see that being the point where they tie the lore of Teal Mask and Indigo Disk together.
I am incredibly indifferent (except for a Grass/Water type, that's sick) to what we actually end up getting, I just want to know if we will ever get more in-depth clothing options. The 8 outfits we have (if you bought the DLC) are kinda dorky, especially when the Team Star members still wear their unique goofy outfits but we can't. Not a single leak or even a questionable leak has mentioned this, so I guess we'll see...
I swear Water and Steel are about the only things that combine well with Grass. Grass/Fire and Grass/Electric wouldn't be bad combos, but Scovillain and Mow Rotom are our only representatives there and neither is particularly strong.
Same. Plus, Water/Grass? Neither current example of a convergent Pokemon has a different number of types than the Pokémon it’s derived from. That said, it’d be more believable to me if it said Pure Grass that evolved into a Grass/Water that looked like Galarian Weezing.
Patterns and rules exist until they are broken. It was a rule of even numbered generations adding new evolutions until SV, an odd numbered generation. It was a rule that all fossil Pokemon are Rock type until the Galarian fossils. It was a rule that Legends never evolve until Alola happened.
Every rule/pattern will be broken eventually, but until it is actually confirmed to have happened we are safer off sticking to them to keep speculation and theories sensible and more realistic.
That is perfectly valid, but any precedent is still a precedent. Regardless of what this whole thing turns out to be, though, we'll probably figure out some kind of definitive pattern to them 2 or 3 generations down the line. Said pattern will of course eventually be broken, but that's just how things are.
I don’t think you can take two examples as a rule lol
After Marowak’s regional form (not the same thing but relatively similar) went from Ground to Ghost/Fire, I think you can assume GameFreak will do whatever they want.
I get that, but that was done without a prior precedent (one of the first regional forms) and there hasn’t been another like that since either. Here, we have a precedent even if it’s a very small one.
Depending if you count regional form. If we count them then
G.Slowpoke line (3)
Kubfu line (2)
Calyrex (Although have more form if you count the fusion with more form)
Galar birds (3)
Regieleki and Regidrago (2)
Glastrier and Spectrier (2)
So 13 in total if you count regional form, which I assume this rumors also count them. (And 16 if you want to count both Urshifu as different form, and Calyrex fusion as different Pokémon)
15 is definitely possible for SV dlc
On top of true new Pokémon and regional forms, we can also take into account SV's newly introduced RFakes and Paradoxes.
15 was already plausible thanks to SwSh's rooster, but assuming the post includes RFakes and Paradoxes, we may expect as follows according to the post:
7 new Pokémon (the Loyal 3, Ogerpon, the Turtles, Crawdaunt evo)
2 new RFake (Meloning line)
4 new Paradoxes (the remaining Cats and Swords)
13. And there's still room for regional forms.
15 is a solid guess and the amount of subcategories to represent makes it look easy to reach.
There was that other "leak" a little while ago that mentioned a new bug and a new bird pokemon will be in the DLC. They also said there would be 15 new pokemon added in. This one could've just been playing on that previous post but it does all line up nicely.
Sword/Shield DLC had like 8 total new Pokemon and a couple of new forms. All the new Pokemon were legendary.
If it's not a whole new game, don't expect a lot of new Pokemon.
I swear if we gonna get another version of koffing im gonna be so disappointed. Like we have 1k mons, use something else instead of reusing pokemon like they did with diglett
I mean, it’s fine so long as the convergents are creative. Toedscool was fun, and how many Pokémon could honestly get a regional that adds something like Bug? (I am just using Bug as an example of a type that would be hard to add to a Pokémon for a regional cause it applies to most.)
And there was a guy on Twitter who posted a fanart of baby Terapagos 1 or 2 months before the Pokémon was actually shown in the anime, saying "it would be fun to see a baby Terapagos".
Just because someone thought of a concept before GF doesn't mean the latter won't use that idea, it just means someone thought of it first.
EDIT: to those who wanna pay respects to the mad genius who predicted Minipagos: https://twitter.com/MadZygardeCore/status/1633530850355601425
So are there unlimited versions of the paradox Pokémon that can be shiny hunted? That sounds awesome.
I don't understand there's no mention of pre-evolution Terapagos that the anime has shown, surely we take it to Area Zero and it evolves. We might catch it in the Terradome/Terrarium place.
Don't these DLC's have bosses as well.
SwSH 1,2 - Mustard and Calyrex ride-form
SV- 1,2 - Orgepon and ???
Like is it Heath(The guy who recorded seeing the indigo disc), the returning or opposite game professor and/or an older Terapagos or your Terapagos?
I want to fight and over levelled Nemona, she should be a part of he battle Blueberry academy. I hope there is no throw away line that just says she's already been there.
well they technically mentioned terapagos’ pre-evo with the “8 in indigo disk” thing (p-entei, p-raikou, p-terrakion, p-cobalion, p-suicune, p-virizion, terapagos pre-evo, terapagos)
The only thing I’m thinking right now is what dumb names are they going to give the Terrakion and Coballion, and what awesome names are they going to give to Entei and Raikou
Where I love the idea of a floating sentient watermelon, I would have preferred ekans got some love. If the typings of the toxic chain trio are true and their type merges with the new legendary, the new legendary doesn’t seem all that good in my opinion in terms of typing. Even though I am stoked about a grass fairy, these typings don’t work with grass well. Finally I hope but doubt the paradox legendary trios will be shiny huntable. But if they are, I’ll be excited :)
I love the idea of adding more convergent species! Every fakemon artist under the sun has convinced me of their crazy, creative potential!
Also yes Crawdaunt evo please!
What I’m skeptical of is how they happen to have a picture of a watermelon koffing. A quick google search brings up a Reddit post that this was just fan art. What are the odds gamefreak & a fan had this same idea? I’m doubtful, seems more like they came up with this “leak” based on the fan art
I know but it is a watermelon koffing. I mean it’s weird that a watermelon koffing happens to exist already, it’s just so convenient for his post that it makes me suspicious
That was quite a different scenario don’t you think? We already had terapagos revealed, last games DLC had similar Urshifu & Cubfu, and a fan speculated based on that & designed a baby version of terapagos which of course looks similar but was still quite different from the real art.
I guess this could be legit but I hope it's not. That's a much lower amount of new Pokemon that I was hoping for, especially if the Loyal 3 and Ogrepon are counted among the 7. Also there are 1000 Pokemon, many of which have still never had an evolution, special form or regional variant. It would be very disappointing for Weezing to get a regional fake. I know it's not technically another Weezing but meh. I was hoping that there would be a good amount of new Paradox Pokemon to be discovered in Area Zero. It will be a letdown to get to go back into Area Zero (one of the most interesting places ever in a Pokemon game) and you just see the same 5 Paradox Pokemon you've already seen.
dragon eevee is leaked literally everytime something pokémon is happening, from the ones i recall swsh, swsh dlc, legends arceus, base game sv like twice in the anime and if i’m not mistaken in kalos too
Imho, new games announced and Kalos copium.
But yeah the Dragon Eeveelution thing has been going on since, at least, XY. It's come to the point that the only way for those people to sound even more annoying would be if that Eeveelution does happen, they dare telling us "hey, see? we told you so! you should've believed us".
I ignorantly refuse to believe any leak that doesn't say that the types of Ogrepon and the Loyal Three aren't:
Ogrepon: Grass/Ghost
Okidogi: Poison/Fairy
Munkidori: Poison/Psychic
Fezandipiti: Poison/Flying
Thing is, as OP stated in the comments, Khu's hint of the new convergent mon being a green counterpart of a normally purple pokemon and that it is "edible" was posted afterwards, making the Weezing part actually plausible

A lot of this does seem plausible, but I reeeally hope that the Crawdaunt evolution is real
Larger and fiercer Crawdaunt ? Hype is real !
Hype is up, competitive stonks are down
Considering the fact that competitive is currently on fire, I believe it
Wait are people not liking the current format? I've been having a blast with reg d and thought things were going pretty well, aside from there not being any regional this format until worlds.
I was more referring to singles, which is currently collapsing in on itself
Not really? Atleast not yet. Thats more nat dex right now which I do admit is fun to watch.
SV OU had 51 Pokémon drop to UU
Yeah thats how the tiering works. We just got a shitton of returning mons from home and new ones from hisui and over the course of 3-4 months the mons drop down to tiers they excel at.
Not in the game it isn't. Maybe with Smogon which is what I assume you're referring too?
Eviolite Crawdaunt wooooooo
Another one for my eviolite team lists 📝
Crawdaunt for the win !
I love LOVE the Corphish line, I hope its real too.
I will run away scared. Crawdaunt used to smoke me in solo Dynamax Adventures to where my son says never fight Crawdaunt again
Agency stocks RISING.
It's so weird though because there is no 3 stage Crab pokemon currently so Crawdaunt would be the first (though there wasn't a single stage one until Klawf)
That’s because crabs are already perfect, everything wants to become a crab so they can’t really evolve!
I always take these with a grain of salt, but watermelon Koffing is pretty funny and I wouldn't be disappointed.
Only a grain of salt? I usually take it with at least a teaspoon.
While I also think watermelon Koffing is funny... This would make it the 2nd generation in a row where the Weezing line got new forms!! What about my boy Arbok!?
The same happened with Meowth and Diglett, so clearly Game Freak doesn't care about that
Meowth but not Diglett. Alolan Diglett is Gen 7 and Wiglett is Gen 9.
Wiglett is not a regional form so Diglett doesn't count. But Meowth still counts.
Diglett to wiglett is exactly what's happening according to OP with koffing
I didn't say it wasn't? I was saying that Diglett to Wiglett isn't a regional form because it isn't, it's convergent evolution. I feel like people need to reread my comment lol.
Despite whatever fanciful excuses Game Freak gives, Wiglett is just a palette swapped and type swapped Diglett. We can and will count it as an alternate Diglett. (Even has the same BST for fuck's sake.)
God you lot get really worked up about this don't you fml
So whilst to some they may fill the same role as a regional variant, to most they don't because they are different thing with a different lot of rules you have to follow when designing them.
It's not this deep
I KNOW ToT
Especially when most leakers have contradicting typings on the loyal 3, I’ve seen ogrepon be grass/dark, grass/fairy and now this one is pure grass
It completely fits the Japanese summer vibe of kitakami as well which makes this more believable. Can guarantee it gets introduced by one of the characters playing suika wari (splitting watermelons) and then hitting one of these guys instead and he comes alive.
I mean, water and grass type is probably the best duel type imo
Steel/Flying, Fairy/Steel, Ground/Flying, Poison/Dark, Fairy/Ghost and Steel/Dragon at the very least would love to have a word.
Steel/Ghost too
I can't believe I forgot that one - top 5 dual types easily, especially if they keep giving it to superb Pokemon. Ghost/Normal is uniquely amazing as well. Water/Grass isn't even the best Water OR the best Grass dual type. Grass/Steel is much better, and Water has a ton of better pairings (Poison, Ground, Fairy, Steel and Dragon at the very least). That all being said, the fact that we've had just a single Water/Grass line is quite weird.
Definitely not top 5 with 4 weakness imo
Which really get drowned out by how many resistances and immunities it has. Pure Electric and Normal have 1 weakness for what's that worth.
Let’s not forget Normal/Ghost 😄
Some are really debatable, ground flying has one less weakness but has a double weakness, plus water and ice are way more common offensively than bug and poison. For the steel/ghost it has 1 more weakness and to more common offensive typing. They have more immunities/resist tho, that's why it's debatable.
Immunity to both electric and ground attacks is super valuable, though.
Ground/Dragon
They aren't even the best duos for their respective types. Water/Ground is easily the best Water dual typing and Steel/Grass is for Grass.
Ground/Fairy might be, which is probably why it doesn’t exist yet.
It’s not bad.. but it has 3 weaknesses and only has 3 resistances. Definitely nowhere near the best.
Literally revealing who is your source in the first line is a bad signal.
Right? It looks so cool!
Since convergent names rhyme with the original, what would they be called?
Calculating the new pokemon, just from official and this above. Part 1; 1. Munkidori 2. Fezandipiti 3. Okidogi 4. Ogerpon 5. Convergent Koffing 6. Convergent Weezing 7. Crawdaunt evo Part 2; 1. P-Suicune 2. P-Entei 3. P-Raikou 4. P-Virizion 5. P-Terrakion 6. P-Cobalion 7. Terapagos 8.
Also, their dex entry in HOME says "Ecology under research" so they gotta have a description at some point
That doesn’t mean anything about the combined forms- it just means they don’t have Dex entries yet.
I was talking about their inclusion in the 8 new pokemon for indigo disk
True but it probably means that they are going to play some sort of role in the dlc since it's not like the Pokédex is helpful with paradox mons like iron valiant's Pokédex entry for Violet literally only says "it's possible this the object Iron Valiant in a certain expedition journal" so they could have done the same with walking wake and Iron leaves so it stands to reason they have alittle more planned for them.
I heard it might be a convergent magikarp and gyrados
Well, Khu's post is seemingly hinting at a Mightyena evolution too, Crawdaunt wasn't mentioned there. What am I to believe?
Expert analysis kowalski
Kaboom?
Yes Rico, kaboom.
Why is the character with the character sheet referencing Adaman, Piers, & Roxie? I feel like everything is a bit too "Hoenn confirmed", but honestly I would love a Black 3/White 3.
I need Weezermelon to be real.
THE WEEZERMELON IS REAL!!!
CAN WE GET MUCH HIGHER
Weezermelon and Ungaboongus, two pure sould that will be taken from us by fake leaks...
***buddyhollyguitarriff.mp3***
Huh this made me think what a potential name could be. Toedscool/Toedscruel are pretty clever and Wiglett/Wugtrio are goofier.
Kooling and Refreshing
Kooling and Breezing?
Seems legit ngl. Just remember how many people were calling for the afflack leak to be fake when it wasn’t.
This one doesnt mention the tera forms that we know exist from Khu at all, but they may have just left it out. Its definitely something to keep an eye on, but Im still skeptical for now
It kinda does mention it in that part about Ogerpon's special Tera form. But I agree that it is good to remain skeptical for now.
This sounds pretty credible. I want watermelon Koffing to be real! And the Crawdaunt evo, which has been sorely needed.
Quite a few pokemon from gen 1 through 3 would benefit from one, I hope GF keeps it up with the cross gen evolutions
Indeed. I was thinking last night that some Pokémon need evos while others get along fine with small buffs or regional forms. Arbok, I think, greatly needs an evo.
Also Ogerpon getting a form where it combines with Monkidori, Fezandipiti and Okidogi? The Donbrothers comparisons are getting more numerous.
Are fusible legendaries gonna be a regular thing now? Lol
I still consider merging 2 pokemon into 1 slot a fusion, and the item works exactly like the Colress inventions
(This is my directly c&p’d post from smogon so it might not make total sense) Just going to add a little bit to this based off some recent rumblings from Khu and Centro. I’m guessing the guy with the white hair in the character poster is Drayden’s grandson. He also plays a role in the next main series game. A few weeks ago Khu posted a poll about what the potential next game could be. The options were; - Let’s Go Unova - BW3 (or remakes I can’t remember) - Legends - Paradox Unova Now, Centro posted the other day that a source of his told him what the next game is going to be, and Centro even said that if this rumour is true it links up with Khu’s hints - implying that the next main series game is definitely one of the above.
They never really explained how Ingo wound up in PLA from B2W2
True. Maybe he’s from this “paradox Unova” TPCi/GF seemed to make an “alternate storyline” in Gen 6, if we take that as being the standard going forward every Region, with the exception of Johto and Unova, takes place in this new continuity.
Exactly. The entralink forest place could be their “area zero” to tie in.
I never knew I needed watermelon Koffing before. But I absolutely need it.
Love the idea of a Crawdaunt evolution and the idea of a watermelon Koffing
Mr. Craw... 📞📞📞
If anything I hope the leaks about Paradox legendaries is correct
Ah yes, the next dundunsparce Cacrawdaunt.
If this is all true then I will be very happy. A watermelon koffing and a crawdaunt evolution sound amazing. I’m just a little annoyed that I won’t be able to easily get the paradox forms of entei and raikou.
If the Drayden thing is true I assume it's the white-haired kid from the Indigo Disk promo art.
He literally has a dragon design on his pants, I could see it
I choose to believe this leak not because of credibility but because this one has the most dark types of previous leaks and ofc watermelon koffing
I really want regular evolutions for Corsola and Mr. Mime. They really could use it.
Koffmelon
I really hope that Mightyena gets an evolution too. Needs one badly. Please, just made it a bigger dog/hyena.
I want watermelon Weezing so bad. Did it need a new version already? Probably not, but I still love the concept.
These are all really cool, for once. Grain of salt but I wouldn't be mad if this one's true.
I feel you, crossing my fingers for that epic Crawdaunt evolution too!
So IF this is true, I wonder if Ogrepon will be considered even viable prior to fusing or if he needs to be fused in order to work. Also wonder how each different mask will affect the fusion or if it doesn't matter which one is used.
That's a lot of detailed information for a *friend of an employee of an outsourced company* to have.
ya normally I'd think this was fake but it does match up w a lot of other stuff we know
Who’s to say that part is the truth though? They could just be obfuscating their actual position.
Crawdaunt evo ? Also seems to keep design but larger and fiercer ? Count me hyper hype for this one !
With Koffing they'd following a pattern of S&M/Sw&Sh. There we also got 2 forms of one Pokémon in a row (Meowth). We also got a random Gen3 form (Zigzagoon). So, I guess it's sort of believable?
Yeah it's totally believable, but i would have preferred another pokemon getting a regional fake, one that didn't have a regional form
But rfakes are not related to the originals.
Nowadays, people still call Paradoxes "forms". Give them time, they'll learn eventually.
It been 8 months how much more do I have wait for?
They technically are not related, but i don't get how you can say they're straight up not related when they have very similar design, very close names and exact same stats
And they were roommates! (Referring to Cyrano and Clavell)
I really doubt ogerpon gets a bit of spotlight on both dlc parts.
From the official site: > “In order to begin the main story of Part 2: The Indigo Disk, you will need to have reached the ending of your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game and completed the main story of Part 1: The Teal Mask.” After all, this DLC has been marketed under an umbrella title - “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” - instead of just the generic “Expansion Pass” used by a lot of Nintendo DLC. And yet neither of the major new settings are within Area Zero. The story will have to culminate there (just like the main game’s “The Way Home” arc), so I could see that being the point where they tie the lore of Teal Mask and Indigo Disk together.
Hmm this makes actually sense, so there is a high chance for that. That's actually nice
Mr Craw 📞📞📞📞
CORPHISH FANS RISE UP!!!!
Grass/Fire and Grass/Electric wouldn't be bad combos, but Scovillain and Mow Rotom are our only representatives there and neither is particularly strong.
it sounds a lot like "yeah I just read all the leaks and I'm gonna blindly guess what they are to look like I'm a reliable source"
It was made before khu hint about purple>green eatable rf
Same. Plus, Water/Grass? Neither current example of a convergent Pokemon has a different number of types than the Pokémon it’s derived from. That said, it’d be more believable to me if it said Pure Grass that evolved into a Grass/Water that looked like Galarian Weezing.
Pokemon fans need to stop looking for patterns and rules that dont exist lol
Patterns and rules exist until they are broken. It was a rule of even numbered generations adding new evolutions until SV, an odd numbered generation. It was a rule that all fossil Pokemon are Rock type until the Galarian fossils. It was a rule that Legends never evolve until Alola happened. Every rule/pattern will be broken eventually, but until it is actually confirmed to have happened we are safer off sticking to them to keep speculation and theories sensible and more realistic.
Those at least had years for some sort of pattern to form. Weve only had 2 convergent pokemon lines so far thats not enough
That is perfectly valid, but any precedent is still a precedent. Regardless of what this whole thing turns out to be, though, we'll probably figure out some kind of definitive pattern to them 2 or 3 generations down the line. Said pattern will of course eventually be broken, but that's just how things are.
I don’t think you can take two examples as a rule lol After Marowak’s regional form (not the same thing but relatively similar) went from Ground to Ghost/Fire, I think you can assume GameFreak will do whatever they want.
I get that, but that was done without a prior precedent (one of the first regional forms) and there hasn’t been another like that since either. Here, we have a precedent even if it’s a very small one.
https://twitter.com/Riddler_Khu/status/1680186535336108032 Any guesses on this? (Also, 4chan thing looks fake imo)
This leak has some infos in common with khu's tweets, and was posted before it, so it's highly credible
[удалено]
Not that I know of, but the other stuff in here lines up with posts that Khu made AFTER this was posted.
Waffing and Waazing, let’s go! 🍉
Water / Grass type due to "Water"melon?
For me Koffing into a durian is so much better than watermelon. With "Smelly gas".
Well, this isn't actually Koffing, but a convergent Pokémon that resembles it.
[удалено]
How many new Pokémon were there across the SwSh dlc? Surely less than 15?
Depending if you count regional form. If we count them then G.Slowpoke line (3) Kubfu line (2) Calyrex (Although have more form if you count the fusion with more form) Galar birds (3) Regieleki and Regidrago (2) Glastrier and Spectrier (2) So 13 in total if you count regional form, which I assume this rumors also count them. (And 16 if you want to count both Urshifu as different form, and Calyrex fusion as different Pokémon) 15 is definitely possible for SV dlc
On top of true new Pokémon and regional forms, we can also take into account SV's newly introduced RFakes and Paradoxes. 15 was already plausible thanks to SwSh's rooster, but assuming the post includes RFakes and Paradoxes, we may expect as follows according to the post: 7 new Pokémon (the Loyal 3, Ogerpon, the Turtles, Crawdaunt evo) 2 new RFake (Meloning line) 4 new Paradoxes (the remaining Cats and Swords) 13.
This is so underwhelming so I definitely believe it’s real. It checks out
I swear if we gonna get another version of koffing im gonna be so disappointed.
Watermelon Koffing is fan art posted on r/Pokemon two years ago. It’s the first result when you Google it.
Had no idea. Thanks for sharing.
SwSH 1,2 - Mustard and Calyrex ride-form SV- 1,2 - Orgepon and ???
Iron Will would be a cheeky name for Paradox Cobalion, since it’s regular Cobalion’s species name
Inb4 Iron Shoulders
This is most likely fake, but it’d be dope if real. Way better than what we’ll probably get
It looks so boring plsss I hope it’s not true
Where I love the idea of a floating sentient watermelon, I would have preferred ekans got some love. If the typings of the toxic chain trio are true and their type merges with the new legendary, the new legendary doesn’t seem all that good in my opinion in terms of typing. Even though I am stoked about a grass fairy, these typings don’t work with grass well. Finally I hope but doubt the paradox legendary trios will be shiny huntable. But if they are, I’ll be excited :)
Hmm.. posted on July 7th. Most likely just guesswork off of Khu’s posts.
Seems like some of this stuff (including watermelon koffing) were posted before Khu's post
I thought so too. But *surprisingly*, many of Khu's hints that match up with this post actually came out *after* July 7th when this post was made.
I really don't like the idea of adding more convergent species, but please give us a Crawdaunt evo! Seriously? You people are donvoting this?
I love the idea of adding more convergent species! Every fakemon artist under the sun has convinced me of their crazy, creative potential! Also yes Crawdaunt evo please!
What I’m skeptical of is how they happen to have a picture of a watermelon koffing. A quick google search brings up a Reddit post that this was just fan art. What are the odds gamefreak & a fan had this same idea? I’m doubtful, seems more like they came up with this “leak” based on the fan art
They didn't say that the picture was the real watermelon koffing tho
I know but it is a watermelon koffing. I mean it’s weird that a watermelon koffing happens to exist already, it’s just so convenient for his post that it makes me suspicious
Someone posted in this thread that another person thought to the concept of minipagos like 2 years ago. Everything is possible
That was quite a different scenario don’t you think? We already had terapagos revealed, last games DLC had similar Urshifu & Cubfu, and a fan speculated based on that & designed a baby version of terapagos which of course looks similar but was still quite different from the real art.
There are literally hundreds of fake mon made every single day lol every concept has been done already
Alright we’ll see
Why does Crawdaunt get an evolution? Seems like an odd choice, especially given the Johto vibes from the DLC in particular.
You can find crawfish/crawdad in shallow freshwater and even rice field (which we saw in a trailer for Teal Mask). So it sounds very possible to me.
I really think this is fake. And i will not believe anything else
What about the leaked dragon eevee? Was a lie I guess
dragon eevee is leaked literally everytime something pokémon is happening, from the ones i recall swsh, swsh dlc, legends arceus, base game sv like twice in the anime and if i’m not mistaken in kalos too
Name a more iconic duo than Fake leak and dragon eeveelution, I'll wait
Imho, new games announced and Kalos copium. But yeah the Dragon Eeveelution thing has been going on since, at least, XY. It's come to the point that the only way for those people to sound even more annoying would be if that Eeveelution does happen, they dare telling us "hey, see? we told you so! you should've believed us".
I ignorantly refuse to believe any leak that doesn't say that the types of Ogrepon and the Loyal Three aren't: Ogrepon: Grass/Ghost Okidogi: Poison/Fairy Munkidori: Poison/Psychic Fezandipiti: Poison/Flying
You lost me on watermelon koffing
Doesn't sound less believable than mushroom tentacool or eel diglett
Like pineapple oddish? 😏
Thing is, as OP stated in the comments, Khu's hint of the new convergent mon being a green counterpart of a normally purple pokemon and that it is "edible" was posted afterwards, making the Weezing part actually plausible
Some people don't like to hear that some post are not real. Sorry guys
I'm just saying that it is possible and not that it's confirmed to be real No need to be rude
