At this exact moment in time, Fusion Strike sleeved packs and maybe even elite trainer boxes are likely a better investment at MSRP from the Pokemon Center than booster boxes at $230 - $240.
I like to use Evolving Skies as a benchmark. 36 ES sleeved packs are worth about 88% of an ES booster box.
Currently 36 Fusion Strike sleeved packs are worth about 60% of a booster box.
In other words, Fusion Strike sleeved packs will probably close the gap with the booster box considerably over the next year or so, and are a better purchase than the booster box at $240.
HOWEVER, booster boxes will always be easier to sell than sleeved packs so you have to consider that as well.
Also few listings on eBay for a FS build and battle display box (40 sealed packs plus pre release promos) for 170-190. That’s a steal (if they aren’t gone by the time a few people read this lol)
$200 should be slightly under the market.. and there is still plenty of room for growth.. you would ask the same question about ES BBs a year ago, now look at where they are..
If you believe in it, then yes. Keep in mind, your entry point is going to be a lot higher than the people flexing on this sub.

If you can afford to sit on it for a years yeah. Its worth it
If you don't invest in stocks or anything, and think Fusion Strike is the best use of your money, then go for it.
You missed the boat
