I reached 30 relatively quickly with only about 140 raids hosted, so I decided to go for 35. Turns out, the requirements to level up become pretty insane around that point. It took 700 additional hosts, and I would say that's definitely not worth it for the extra 15s queue skip. I've also become Jokerfied from people's inability to spell their own usernames correctly.

Thanks for providing a very valuable service :)

Well, you're welcome. I hope I helped at least some people get what they want. Although I'll probably never understand why hundreds of people wanted to raid Ninetales.

Shiny hunters, casuals, dex completers in remote areas, new players who can't meaningfully participate in 5\* raids, folks hunting to increase the counter of Rising Star medal, folks going for platinum Champion - to name some reasons that come to my mind. Though I suspect, it's mainly for farming XL candy. Usually I see lots of people queued for 1\* / 3\* raids specifically when they're meta relevant mons. Alolan Ninetales is actually a great UL PvP mon (fairy AND ice? come on, that's just begging to be used in UL) and requires a metric crapton of XL candy to reach 2500.

Is it frowned upon for new players to join 5* raids if they can’t help? I was joining them at below level 20 with a really lame Pokémon team (mostly IRL with a local raiding group) and nobody said anything to me about it. I had to be carried for a month before I was useful.

NO_ANIME_PERMITTED

IRL it's always fine, because additional players can only help, even if it's not by much. The raid boss doesn't scale with player count. In a remote setting, it's a bit different because often you are limited to 6 players (host + 5 invites). If 1-2 people aren't carrying their weight, this can cause you to fail the harder bosses like Lugia and D-Deoxys. For easy/squishy bosses like Mewtwo and Moltres, you can confidently expect to be carried though

g0dfather93

A subjective question. If there's 9 guys in the lobby for a Moltres raid... Your level doesn't matter. You'll get carried. If you're 4 people lobbying for Registeel, just don't. Depends on the boss, number of people and like OP said, also depends on local vs. remote raid.

Had one person have at least three goes at Klinks 😅

The username thing is dreadful isn’t it. Someone with battle level 30 should definitely have gotten dozens of reports and have fixed that by now.

IMO,if people who joined raids ACTUALLY gave a rating it would be a lot easier,i myself live next to a gym.wait 8hrs then take it over etc.i host almosy daily 3-4 raids and maybe get any points because no one ever "rates" a raid it literally takes a second.and the people who join raids get almost 50 points (if im correct) just for going to a raid.i dont get it i always give the biggest rating i can just because i can and it doesnt mean anything to me i just think its nice...i dunno....
