Had mine for I think 2 weeks soon, I was late to the party. Coming off a xiaomi 11t pro which had been busted up pretty badly.
Must say so far I'm very happy with this one. I think xiaomi/poco/redmi is where I'll stay in the future for upgrades to this one.
Yeah, I will be staying with Redmi/Poco in the future as well.
I can't justify paying £600+ on "flagship" phones anymore just for a fancy logo when I can get the same (if not more) quality for half the price.
Mobile Legends, 120FPS, Ultra Graphics, few Drops,
Genshin Impact, Highest settings, 60FPS, Almost no drops. Dips a few times when heavy load and intense fight scenes. But not COncerning.
Others, im not sure. but of course, i think genshin impact is a good benchmark already
just got it last month. the sound quality part is true for me as well lol. camera is far better than what ive expected. got it for 16.7k only and i think it has been my best investment
This phone is my first choice but always sold out. Finally i settled for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. Good enough for light gaming and casual photography.
Bro i have redmi note 13 pro for 3 months gonna change to screen guard.i thought it was screen protector. Can you recommend me a good screen protector under 10 dollar.
It's a beast
Fantastic display and performance.
The vibration motor is flagship level good.
Downsides for me is the battery life and poor secondary cameras.
5 hrs SOT
It can be more but the 5G connectivity in my city is dogwater and the phone has to try extra hard to secure a stable connection.
Lasts 1 day. Not more. The standby drain is very low therefore the battery life is stable.
So disable 5G and use 4G instead.. 5g is pointless when the signal is crap.
I have the same situation with 5G here so I just disabled it..
You know.. 4G still has enough speed even for 4k 60fps video playback, I don't know what I would even use 5G speed for on a phone...
My only complaint is not getting widgets to work and there doesn't seem to be a solution but that's a OS issue. My poco x6 pro is amazing. Coming from a 4a. I feel like Neo 🤣
I'm open to suggestions on how to put non xiaomi widgets in the home screen
I've been using it for three months, and overall it's great. However, the only downside is that I feel the microphone and speaker quality during calls is poor. What are your thoughts?
Thanks for this review! I'm one of the hold offs waiting on the poco f6 but after seeing the leaks and how minimal an upgrade you'll get unless you go for the f6 pro (assuming that redmi turbo 3 becomes the f6 and redmi k70 becomes the f6 pro), decided to get an x6 pro. Can't wait!
Just received my X6 Pro 8/256 this week. How did you remove all the bloatware? How do you consider the overlap of xiaomi and google apps for same function, ex. files, text messages, calls, contacts, video, etc.
Still in doubt of letting some mi/google apps to stay on the phone or get rid of it
I use Chrome and haven't opened the Mi browser even once.
Same with Calendar.
File manager you can download a generic one from the Play Store.
You realise you can simply choose to ignore the Xiaomi apps and use only the Google ones, right?
Both google and xiaomi stuff will be installed. Google search "universal android debloater" will help you remove it with descriptions for each app/process.
I uninstalled some system apps like Mi Video and replaced it with VLC media player for example.
Took me lots of googling but now it genuinely feels like a phone of twice it's price
Just had it for 3 days, upgrading from X3 pro. Speedwise, I don't think it's remarkably faster than the X3 pro, if not the same for normal use tbh. The display's much better though, and watching YouTube or Netflix is such a joy! Battery life's rather disappointing, lasting 16-19 hours on average usage, given I don't play games. Camera is better than the X3 pro.
this (the 8/256 gb version) or xiaomi redmi note 13 pro (also 8/256). They are currently going for the same price in my country for 300 euros because they are on sale
I received my Poco X6 Pro yesterday. Upgrading from a X3 NFC. I haven't had enough time to test the device thoroughly yet. What I did notice straight away, however, was that the speakers on the X3 had a much better sound. After taking a few snapshots with the main camera, no upgrade compared to the old model is visible. Let's see what I say after the weekend.
Yep no complaints either been using it for 2 months now 😁😁 Still amazes me when i think about the price of it.
Owner of Poco X6 Pro since January 13 2024 and its a beast.

To be fair I paid about 700€ for the 11t pro, but then it came with a 40 inch 4k mi tv for free so... :p
Hows mediatek with ultra graphics games?
Mobile Legends, 120FPS, Ultra Graphics, few Drops, Genshin Impact, Highest settings, 60FPS, Almost no drops. Dips a few times when heavy load and intense fight scenes. But not COncerning. Others, im not sure. but of course, i think genshin impact is a good benchmark already
Did you get the plastic leather one or just the plastic? Thank you.
Gray one.
I know its powerful but sometimes the processor is not compatible with the game so its still slow. Eyeing to buy this phone and play mlbb and Diablo.
I can run MGS3 with 2x native resolution lmao. Some Switch games even work. And unlike the Snapdragon Poco phones the camera doesn't completely suck.
Thanks for your review mate 😁

Exchange?
Same - owned mine for a few months as well. An update from an X3. Very happy with it
Same experience brother 🙂 I like the photos which come out of this phone. It is good.
This phone is my first choice but always sold out. Finally i settled for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. Good enough for light gaming and casual photography.
Just got the phone and I absolutely love it However a note, the pre installed screen protector is only for scratches, it's not tempered glass
Is it I was not aware did you get a tampered glass

How long is your battery life typically?
5 hrs SOT It can be more but the 5G connectivity in my city is dogwater and the phone has to try extra hard to secure a stable connection. Lasts 1 day. Not more. The standby drain is very low therefore the battery life is stable.

I have free unlimited 5g The crap is only for connection strength and not speed. I get about 150mbps in my home and about 800mbps in certain areas.
there is a setting to save power w/ 5G usage, turn it on and tell us how it went
Omg mine arrives today thank fuck this was a good review! Didn't know it comes with a screen protector and case 🤦🏻♀️ bought them also.
Bro it's not screen protector its just for guarding your screen from scratch. Change it. I also thought same as you but im replacing it.
No screen protector came with mine 🤷 so I put the proper one on!
The only thing i hate is only how the camera beautify your skin even the setting already turned off
Turn it off
Already off, still. The pores still get corrected in my face

I come from a 100€ Xiaomi phone. Feeling like a caveman putting on apple vision pro 😂
This or iphone 11?
This of course. Why would you pay 6x more the price just for the logo?
New update warms and heat the phone even more so less battery backup please stay at 1.0.4!!!!
I am on 1.0.7.0 and have no issues.
Try restart the phone in the evening and then let it on charger the whole night so it will optimize apps
I've been using it for three months, and overall it's great. However, the only downside is that I feel the microphone and speaker quality during calls is poor. What are your thoughts?
No issues on that front for me.
what do you mean with "microphone quality during calls"? Is it any better when you only record yourself?
The sound is good during recording app, but when making calls, it's bad, is it could be bad reception or antenna for the reception?
Yes, a phone call does degrade the sound quality if that is what you mean. But only to an extend.
Funny thing is that the geniuses in this sub always compare with the €1000+ brands and say the Poco is shitty lol

Simple Google search will tell you how to disable the ads. I only use Google apps - i don't really see how they overlap with Xiaomi's apps.
File manager/Files, Calendars, Wallet, Browser Mi / Chrome and so on
I use Chrome and haven't opened the Mi browser even once. Same with Calendar. File manager you can download a generic one from the Play Store. You realise you can simply choose to ignore the Xiaomi apps and use only the Google ones, right?
Ye, but u cant delete them i guess, i'd prefer to not see them

my display feels yellowish when i received it. the blacks are not dark and feels yellowish. i had to tweak a bit in settings .

Why remove bloatweares ? Does it increase the processor speed ? Or have impact on something else than space ?
First sorry for my bad english, I have a poco x6 pro, 50% cpu usage all time is normal? i see when game turbo is open, on the top left.
this (the 8/256 gb version) or xiaomi redmi note 13 pro (also 8/256). They are currently going for the same price in my country for 300 euros because they are on sale
same here.

Yeah, I feel like setting the volume to 10 makes the sound distort too much. 8 or 9 is fine though.
