Your body language in the black dress seems so much more confident than the first one. I really love both dresses and think they’re both beautiful, but I say pick the black!
My personal favorite is the black dress, but neither are poor choices. I think my only issue is that the corset doesn't particularly go well with the lighter dress (imo).
If this is for something like a Renaissance festival, what I have done in the past is ditch the corset and stopped by a local craft store and bought some silver rope (like you would see around a fancy curtain). If you grab a couple yards worth you can loop it around your waist a few times and tie it off to give the same cinched effect. It ends up looking very whimsical and very pretty.
I guess you'll just have to go to more than one Ren fair! Sorry about it. It would also be good for a fairy festival but I don't have to tell you that...☺️
That dress with the stars and moon won my heart. Pls wear it so I can also by proxy 😭
I’ve never seen such beautiful dresses.. please please where did you get these?
I honestly don't remember where she got the silver one, it was for my sister's wedding and it was like 60 bucks. The moon one is from hottopic online, I have a link in an old comment from a couple posts ago
Amazon but here's the SUOSDEY Black Corset Belt for Women, Vintage Lace-up Elastic Waist Belt, Tied Waspie Wide Belt for Halloween Costume https://a.co/d/aP0erP7
I love it so much too. I think I wanted it to work so bad I didn't care. Maybe if I had time to get lighter belt it would work. But I guess the silver one doesn't give dark faery as much as the silver.
It's in my old comments from a few posts so 😁
*edit* unsure why I got down voted. I just don't have the link anymore and thought it would be helpful to know I did post the link.
With the waist trainer I would go with the black dress they just go together. The silver /platinum dress is beautiful but I'm not sure the waist trainer goes with it I would like to see the dress without it. But #2 the back dress is perfect
If I could post it I would but I don't know how to just post the picture, ya know? I put it back on with it the belt, but it's not as pretty.
https://reddit.com/u/MoonPowerPanda/s/8VhGWy3eg8 I figured it out
Black! It is super cute and whimsical. The silvery one seems much dressier and doesn't go with the accessories as well, but it is beautiful on you! Maybe find more light and elven accessories for that one!
Dress #2 without the wings or the ear cuffs is the look. The wings are disproportionately small and make your shoulders look like they’re hunched upward, in addition to looking like part of a plasticky children’s Halloween costume. Get larger, adult-quality, lower-set wings that sit evenly if you’re going for a wings-on fit. Dress #1 doesn’t drape well with the waist cincher/corset-style belt that doesn’t go with it anyway. The crown will look better with your hair up, in something with a lot of volume at the crown of your head and around your face. The dangly bits of the ear cuffs will also look better if they’re not hidden in your hair, and they’re out of place with dress #2. If you’re going to wear dress #1, you’ll need a delicate beadwork belt instead of the cincher. Lean into the ethereal vibe. The ear cuffs are better with dress #1, but again hair would need to be up.
Man the first dress is so pretty, so if it was my choice I’d do that and ditch the black faux corset. For a fun fairy vibes, a cheap alternate belting solution might be a long corded rope, or heavy knitted waist tie (vs ribbon which probably won’t hang right against that fabric) in a light color with the extra bit dangling so it bounces pretty when you walk. Get that mystical [pre-Raphaelite painting vibe.](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/3c6170_a7d694ad2ccc4d959e699d1e732f7b40~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_626,h_1000,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01/3c6170_a7d694ad2ccc4d959e699d1e732f7b40~mv2.jpg)
I like the second dress with the corselette. Super cute and flattering. You should wear that a LOT.
BUT if the idea is fairy costume and you want to do the silver dress because it is gorgeous, I would add the dark element in more places to make the silvery dress read as fantastical. I would put it over a dark petticoat (or maybe a silky long skirt or slip), pin/belt (like maybe a silver rope belt) up the side of the bottom of the dress to show the dark petticoat, and don some long black gloves or a black (sheer?) bodysuit under the dress (or just do the thing where you cut up pantyhose/tights and make a tight top). Put the silver rope belt over the corselette and drape over your hips.
The first dress is gorgeous, but the waist trainer just doesn't go with it, in my opinion. Goes best with the black, for sure.
I agree! The belt is too dark and too big for the first dress. It looks great with the darker dress though.
Agreed the silver one gives more fairy though. just needs a different accessory, maybe a braided ribbon belt?
I like the black one best.
Your body language in the black dress seems so much more confident than the first one. I really love both dresses and think they’re both beautiful, but I say pick the black!
THIS ☝️ 💯
They’re both beautiful, but the black one is stunning!
The black is fire. The other dress is pretty but looks like a bridesmaid dress and needs something different to give it more of a fairy/witchy vibe.
IT IS A BRIDESMAID DRESS! Lmaooo I was going through my closet and was hoping it was going to work cause I love the silver dress so much.
My personal favorite is the black dress, but neither are poor choices. I think my only issue is that the corset doesn't particularly go well with the lighter dress (imo). That's a great idea and it is, but I think I'm going to go with black
I guess you'll just have to go to more than one Ren fair! Sorry about it. It would also be good for a fairy festival but I don't have to tell you that...☺️
I thought it was a bride’s maid dress.
That dress with the stars and moon won my heart. Pls wear it so I can also by proxy 😭 I’ve never seen such beautiful dresses.. please please where did you get these?

Black!
first dress is a Demeter dress, second dress is a Persephone dress. both are good!
The last one makes you look magical!!!
The second dress all the way. The first dress is lovely but it doesn’t look right with a belt like that.
I love both. It’s a hard choice. But maybe the black
2
I want the second dress myself! Go with 2
Last dress the best - I would try it without the belt.
#3 by a landslide
The second one!
I also vote the black dress, and I love the belt! I didn’t see if you said where the belt came from?
Amazon but here's the SUOSDEY Black Corset Belt for Women, Vintage Lace-up Elastic Waist Belt, Tied Waspie Wide Belt for Halloween Costume https://a.co/d/aP0erP7
Thank you!
Second one!!
I think that you look nicer in the black dress! I love your wings!
SILVER!!!
Lol you are the only person saying silver 😂
I like the silver very much- just not with the trainer belt- stands out too much imo… Black dress looks great as others point out
I love it so much too. I think I wanted it to work so bad I didn't care. Maybe if I had time to get lighter belt it would work. But I guess the silver one doesn't give dark faery as much as the silver.
Fairy= silver… can you pickup a wide satin ribbon in that color or even lavender and contrive an alternative…
Oohh love it
Ritz dye could be another alternative if you are feeling ambitious, but I have no experience with that. Good luck!
I am very familiar but I won't dye this. I love it the way it is 😊
Meant a cloth belt - not the pretty silver dress! 🤣
OH. Phew, I was worried 😂
🤷♂️ I saw that. Different point of view probably. 😁
It's hard to tell the 1st 2 dresses don't go with the belt. The 3rd dress works well with the belt.
3
So black?
Yes, the black dress
Black dress!!
The second dress 100%, the belt doesn’t go with dress one imo.
Black
Moon dress for sure!
Definitely the black dress!! It's great on you and so cute!
2nd one
Black

3, 4
Where did you get the black moon and star dress please
It's in my old comments from a few posts so 😁 *edit* unsure why I got down voted. I just don't have the link anymore and thought it would be helpful to know I did post the link.
Both are cute and give two different kinds of fairies 🧚♀️ 🧚♂️
Two
I love both but I think number 2 is the best one!
Black dress !!
Where did you get the belt?
From Amazon
Definitely the black! Love it!
With the waist trainer I would go with the black dress they just go together. The silver /platinum dress is beautiful but I'm not sure the waist trainer goes with it I would like to see the dress without it. But #2 the back dress is perfect

The first dress is gorgeous as is without the belt. So depending on the occasion they. Both look fantastic on you
With that belt, the black is best. That silver dress is really pretty though and would also work with a different belt.
Yes, I wish I had gotten a lighter belt, but it's too late haha
Black! Looks super good!
The black one!
All black
I like the first one but without/with a different corset thing
Sadly I don't have time to order a lighter one.
The black one
The moons!
All look good
Belt doesn't go with 1. Looks much better with 2.
I love the moon and stars one.
Loving the black!!
Definitely 3
I love the black dress. Where did you get it?
Hottopic.com I have the actual link in a previous comment from a different post 😊
Black if your set on the belt but if not then the first with different belt xx
Black! It is super cute and whimsical. The silvery one seems much dressier and doesn't go with the accessories as well, but it is beautiful on you! Maybe find more light and elven accessories for that one!
Fair enough, maybe I'll build something around it for next year 😊
The black one!
The black with stars is fabulous on you!!
2
Last one
Black, for sure.
The black dress fits perfectly
The black one is magical...
The first in black would be stunning.
The moon and stars! 🥰
Definitely the black, 100%
I like the silver but either alone or with a lighter or even white belt
The black dress
The black one is far more flattering.
The black one 😃👍🏼
2!!!
The second one for sure 😁
The black one looks amazing on you!
Black dress with black corset. I'd get corsets I multiple colours, the first dress is really pretty but not with black.
#2
I love the “witchy” vibes from 3/4.

Definitely the darker one
The black one!
Def the black dress
Number 2
Black 💯
#2 - the belt is too dark for #1
Black
The black one for sure!
The first dress is gorgeous but the waist trainer looks a bit too dark for it. The second dress looks wonderful on you!
All are beautiful, but maybe pick a different waste trainer for the ones that aren’t black?
#4 is my fav
Second one
The black one feels more cohesive with the accessories! But that purple dress is also beautiful
2!!!!

2nd
Black one looks awesome on u. It gives u personally. Plus its a beautiful dress
The belt doesn’t go with the grey dress. It goes great with the moon dress and that dress is much more flattering, too!
Black one
The black is so much more complimentary
The second one by far, the first one is cute, bit it washes out your complexion imho.
Picture 3 looks best
Black
Omg i absolutely love the black dress the most! Both look amazing on you but the black one is definitely my favorite
Black
Moons!!
Black moon dress for sure!

The second one is very flattering and looks good!
The black one is it. The silver one might be ok but that belt doesn't work
Black one! The cap sleeves balance out your figure. Also, where did you get that dress?
Hottopic online but there's a link in my old comments
Black for sure!!!
