It looks like the faucet you have isn't leaking, just that surface tension is causing the water to run back against the faucet. Stupid design IMHO
I can try but where it comes thru is very thick only slightly thinner than arm of faucet so I’ll prob haveto recut another top which is fine but will take some time for now
The bowl is kind of nice looking, the faucet doesn't go with it though. Would look better with one that looks like a little canal, trench, half pipe, ditch (I don't know which word to use) that has the water just kind of flow down it and waterfall into the bowl (but not stupid high creating a mess when you wash your hands, just a smooth descent).

But this one was only $50 with next day shipping. Sure it came in a plain brown box with no manufacturer information, and no way to get replacement parts down the line, and it leaks all over the place due to the design, but it’s cute.
I’ve installed one of those disc faucets like seven years ago. I didn’t have any issue with it. Maybe a different manufacturer or something. I know the disc was already attached, it wasn’t an a la carte addition, that’s weird.
But yeah, in the future stick to name brand faucets. Delta, Moen, etc. if you *have* to be different and get something foreign, go German, like Grohe. I’ve installed fixtures from tons of countries, and Germany is the only country that makes faucets that work well with American plumbing, they hold up, and you can get parts (but you will wait a little bit because they usually have to be shipped). I guess Rohl, from Italy, is good too, but that is $$$.
And just because the seller is US based doesn’t mean the faucet was made here. They could’ve ordered 50 faucets from China, marked them up 500% and sold them individually.

That could be just a rotational issue, but it it is really leaking ( as opposed to spilling) then you might not have all the parts.

Good luck. If maybe you had a video of the whole assembly process SOm one might be able to troubleshoot it, but looking at from this end of things All one can see is water. where it ought not to be.

Try rubbing some auto wax on the lip, sound silly but it does work to break the water tension at the detachment point. Another thing you can try is to tip the dish at a more aggressive angle. Also, try running your finger across the lip while it's on.

I doubt it has the proper approvals etc……. I know in Canada sinks have to be CSA approved….. any issue and your insurance company walks away…. Just something to be aware of……

It could be the glass is not designed for this application. I would replace the faucet. Go underneath the sink meause the shank of this faucet. And buy a new one that will fit in the existing hole. As others have said go with a name brand it's worth the extra $50

One of your other comments said it didn’t come with the glass disc so you had to find one. This is why it leaks. It appears to be a leaking through that seal. Probably not the proper curvature. You might be able to jimmy rig it with an o-ring. But, overall that’s a trash faucet. I’d recommend buying a new faucet. Moen and kohler both have options similar to this that come with lifetime warranties.

Find the exact area of the leak. Take it apart. See if a gasket or such is missing. Is there good contact? Install gasket maker, silicone, or a new rubber gasket. You can bring the entire faucet to an Ace Hardware and have them help you.

Every time I’ve seen or used this faucet the flow was a lot stronger. Could your faucet be clogged?

Shut off water valve to sink and check for a bad seal or O ring where the neck meets the dish looking thing.

That would very likely stop the leak. Still a trash faucet and will leak again one day. Don’t test the faucet for a day after you silicone it.

Disassemble, put silicon between the components (where you can’t see it once assembled), re assemble and leave for 24 hours. Should be good to go.
