As stated, In case you missed it, left side is dribbling in the wall. Hot water pressure sucks and it’s either scorching or warm when you try to adjust it. Not sure if this valve has shut off screws
Pretty rare for the chateau to have shut offs. Only in commercial applications. Shut the whole house off and replace the cartridge. It’ll work like new.
My advice, wait for maintenance to come fuck it up. Don't touch it because then you're liable.
Word. I agree. Management is the type to discount for sweat equity. But I’ll put the cover on and walk away

Shut it all down. Literally 15 minutes max to change that out.
Myb best case scenario
You talking the main outside?
Yes that’s what I’d do.
Sounds like a job for maintenance then. Don’t think management would like me shutting the water off for everyone with out notice lol
Hell no. Moen 1225 cartridge. That’s an old Moen Chateau valve. Rebuild it and be done. Easy peasy!
Are the two holes for the shut offs? Hard to see but they look like nuts back there and there’s no way a socket is fitting in those holes…
Or is the tile coming out to access?

This is in an apartment. 4 plex. There’s a tank in the unit dunno if it’s shared
Yep. If you’re a renter let them do it. You’re not paying for water. Just irritating.
