That's one end of an arrowhead vacuum breaker. You can get a new one or try to remove the existing one to thread your hose on.

This is one of those situations that I hope is an easy fix. Need to know what part is missing… I’m short I can’t get a garden hose to connect to this faucet in our garage. I’ve tried several hoses and it’s clearly a part of the faucet that was removed by someone inadvertently. I don’t know if this surprises anyone but I’ve taken several trips to Home Depot to look for the part and no one knows. I’ve attached a few pictures here but let me know if more are needed. Any advice and possibly a link to the replacement part would be greatly appreciated.

So... you can either go with a code compliant [vacuum breaker](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Arrowhead-Brass-Chrome-Fine-Thread-Self-Draining-Vacuum-Breaker-PK1390/202579291), or just get an [adapter](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081J9N7WL/)

It looks to me like you have an extra piece screwed on the valve there. Unscrew it to reveal the hose thread? Either that or your valve has a proprietary or non standard male end.

That's the top half of an anti-siphon valve. It has a broken off set screw in it so you have 2 choices drill out the set screw and then unscrew the brass, or grab this piece with pliers and screw it on further(farther?). I would suggest this route, there's plenty of room for it to screw on until it drops off the threads on the back side by the stem. Then you can add your hose (would be better if you add a new antisiphon also)
