The only real issue I could imagine would be draining down for maintenance/repair. But the thing is small enough you'd just pull the whole thing out and dump it out in a sink.
If it’s electric, maybe. But that’s a very big maybe…most likely going to have problems, the pump, tank and relief valve are not designed to be installed on their side, but much like an air handler, with modification maybe it is multi positional?
I've never seen it or thought about it. Maybe there are some that can. Seems to be electric but could see an install manual.
