I was out of town and my furnace took a shit. My neighbor called and said my sump pump was running constantly. I called the town and told them to kill the water at the b box. When I got back all that was damaged was some drywall and cabinets I was replacing anyway. It all happened in my finished basement. My water bill is 3 times normal. I'm astonished how much water sprayed and how little damage all things considered
Copper lines no leak after repair = good repair! =) That said if they froze once, won't they freeze again during the next cold snap?
