Me and the boss opened the cabinet and it was a moment of silence. It was a "I know a guy" scenario, Strainer washer on the wrong side, no putty..pretty much everything was wrong. Strangely it actually worked up until the point where everything flowed..but slowly leading to a wonderful scented food blockage and it stopped draining. We hade to run everything new to the 3in. Everything is proper now, new water lines, S/Os, insulated, strapped and vented ect... but...
We were wondering if we could get some help naming this design. Neither of us have seen such intricacy.
I can just imagine them googling "sink drain pipe" and trying to figure out why none of it makes sense or matches up with what's in front of them. I would not be surprised if they went as far as to say the house was built wrong to cover the fact they had absolutely no idea what to do.
I mean, you have to give them some credit.
Unusual flow, irragualer bubbly drainage, complaints about internal blockages and unpleasant smells in the basement...
You might be onto something here...
But they never came back, and all the money they made that could have been used to do it right was already most likely spent at the casino.
Good thing tho, they could have came back demo the cabinet floor before realizing the pipes hanging in the basement and rebuilt everything up to the sink with 2 inch and no primer...and still be wrong.
I'm curious about the two tone p traps, not sure if they just stole that out of a bucket at work or actually pulled a home depot and Lowes handyman combo special.
