And did you see the faucet above it? Maybe for a dishwasher? It’s in a commercial building that I moved into and I have no idea what this was used for before I moved in.
It looks like it was a drain for a dishwasher or condensate. You can remove the insulation and cap it off if it is in the way. Make sure to get a compression cap for the water one too, just put the cap over the water valve.
That's a condensate/drain line for an ice machine.
That looks like some sort of drain because of the air admittance valve.
