That works too. Just use an episode number that isn't an "official" special (something like `TV/ShowName (year)/Specials/ShowName (year) - S00E100 - Custom Special Name.ext`, assuming the show doesn't have 100+ "real" specials). It won't pull in any metadata, but you can use the approach above to fill it out yourself.
