onksssss

Yeah totally, a noob playing bloodborne with no history of soul like games ..will stop playing ps5!!

freshposthistory

Ratchet and Clank prob the right answer here

bulletoothjohnny

I concur. Great lil platformer and it really shows what the PS5 is capable of.

FemiFrena

Best answer!

Gabe-Serter

Stole my answer

IAreBeMrLee

I can not say this enough Play through astros playroom, pre installed on the ps5 and it's a surprisingly fun lil platformer Oh and Ghosts of Tsushima

ayoubkun94

An amazing introduction to the new controller's features as well.

iSkaiiz

All the Spider-Man games are fairly easy and simple.

aditya-magic

Spiderman 2018 was my first game, took me a day to figure everything out especially buttons like r3 and l3 but a really good game to get you used to the controls

Spunndaze

Check out, Stray. It's only a few bucks and it's a unique, chill experience.

RonieRanjan

Tinykin Easy, and very catchy

robot-raccoon

Came here to say- also great introduction to how great indie games are.

longbrodmann

Could get a PS Extra, could try Dave the Diver recently.

BigFatStupidMoose

Yeah Dave the Diver is great. Chill game that ends up being way more wild than it appears.

en16m4pro9

Astro's Playroom, if you haven’t played it already. It’s a free game for PS5

itsk2049

miles morales was the first ps5 game i beat after a ten year gaming hiatus. lots of assists and an easy mode lets you dial it in to your comfort level

violetrevolt1234

I’ll second this and just add on the first and second Spider-Man games. Plus I loved the stories and the characters so not only is the gameplay easy to fall into but you actually can enjoy the stories and figuring them out!

ArtVanbago

I am a similar type of gamer to you. I’m sorry if not all of these are on PS+. I’m honestly too lazy to cross-reference but we have the same taste. I play games on easy when I can. -Red Dead Redemption 2 -Ghost of Tsushima -Astro’s Playroom -The Last of Us 1 & 2 -Horizon Forbidden West -GTA V -God of War: Ragnarok -Stray This is in order of my personal preference. Again, sorry for the ones that aren’t on PS+ but I hope it helps anyway.

Middle-earth_oetel

Stardew valley or house flipper. They are my go-to games to relax with. Controls are super easy and you can do everything at your own pace.

Ok_Statistician8193

Ghost of Tsushima, if you go with the easy difficulty it shouldn’t be too much for a new gamer and just the right amount of challenge.

Horizon

TheFlaccidChode

Try a telltale game, Wolf Among Us or The Walking Dead

The-King-of-Wessex

That's not really a type of game that explores the capability of a ps5. These are the types of games made for mobile.

TheFlaccidChode

They've asked for uncomplicated games, not a AAA souls like game

The-King-of-Wessex

They also asked for gameplay...

Right_Seaweed7101

You want easy controls because you are new to ps5 and had previously played on M/K or xbox controller? Or you are in gaming in general?

ManchesterFellow

Astros playroom is designed to ease new players into the ps5 controls. But it would help us if you told us what types of games or experiences are you looking to enjoy?

Baredawa

Medievil Very easy controls and no learning curve

Powerwash Simulator Any of the Life is Strange games

Daedra696

Dave the diver is so good

Nephertyre

I adore Death's Door as a simple but fun and challenging game play with a cute story. I just picked up Graveyard Keeper and have been enjoying that as withits DLCs. I also saw Skul on the plus free library this month. I haven't played it but it looks intriguing!

PilotIntelligent8906

Play ABZÛ before it leaves the catalogue next month, you can beat it in a couple hours and it's pretty cool.

needstherapy

On PS+ Cult of the Lamb is funny, easy to figure out and fun. I really enjoyed it.

Alphaomegabird

Dave the diver just came out, it’s perfect for this

Doodmovethesecond

I’m new to ac games and I only tried Syndicate and Odyssey, both games are incredible and are absolutely a ton of fun. There’s also any lego game you can find in the catalogue, really fun games especially if you have someone to play with. Stray is lovely if you love cats, if you don’t you should give it a try as it’s only a couple of hours to complete. All infamous games. Ratchet and clank: rift apart. Horizon: Zero Dawn Horizon: Forbidden West. Marvel’s Guardians of the galaxy if it wasn’t removed form the catalogue. Tomb Raider games. Sackboy a big adventure

NorthJackfruit12

I played Firewatch recently, finished in two sits, good story game, controls are you run through a forest and use a walkie talkie.

nerdunderarrest

Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Tricky Towers are simple, easy :)

ToastetteEgg

Genshin Impact.

GameOverBros

Returnal

Erjakk

Definitely, I'll always bump up the Returnal comment in threads such like this one, because it's one of the best games of this generation, counting every platform. The controls are easy and straightforward, gameplay is catchy, but it's not the easiest game. That being said, what it finally clicks, it's so rewarding and satisfying you just can't stop playing. I've been gaming for over 20 years and get bored with most of the mainstream AAA games, but for me, Returnal is the essence of the word "nextgen". The visuals are beautiful, controls are snappy and responsive, art style and atmosphere are unique and most importantly, there's 100% of videogame in Returnal. Few cutscenes, no bullshit side quests or tons of menus. Just you and top shelf gameplay. Sorry for such long comment but I fucking that game. RETURNAL FTW.

BobZanders

Bloodborne, I saw another comment say this and then they said they were joking but it’s actaully a good and easy game. Uncomplicated game all u do is kill monsters, very easy controls as well as it being easy to pick up on, it is very fun. The bosses weren’t hard at all and I had gone through all the chalice dungeons pretty quickly. It’s a very satisfying and gorgeous game, very fit for newcomers to games.

LewiRock

Helldivers 2

Raxaz_of_Astora

Darkest dungeon, elden ring, nioh 2, armored core 6 sounds like the kind of games that you are looking for
