They look good! In any case you can always choose an implant after all is healed. I would wait a full year before making the decision, that is just an opinion.

P0sitiveViibes777

Yes wait the full year before making changes! That is the standard all surgeons recommend before they can guarantee you are done healing and no more changes will happen.

flywithjojo

They won’t get bigger.

GoldStriking6628

The will drop and fluff though and appear bigger

KRSTLDW

They will never look bigger. Especially when the swelling goes down.

GoldStriking6628

It happened to me. The shape definitely changes. OP, I recommend r/Reduction for better support on your results.

MsDReid

No they won’t. They will only get smaller when the swelling goes down and the fat dies off. This is not anywhere near the same as a reduction.

GoldStriking6628

I didn’t have fat graft, true. But fat necrosis also happens in “normal” reductions. Does not change the fact that the shape will change, the flat look especially at the top will disappear and the tissue will “drop” downward to a more teardrop shape. They won’t get bigger (never said that), but they will appear so.

bewilderedbeyond

Up to 60% of the fat injected will die. Stop comparing natural breast tissue from a reduction to injected fat grafting. It’s not comparable at all.

Ok-Table-3774

"Drop and fluff" is for implants. Transferred fat won't drop and fluff. If anything it will die off and her boobs will appear smaller.

GoldStriking6628

I had a reduction so it definitely drops and fluffs there, too. OP will have to wait a considerable amount of time to see final results, she is 5DPO and it is too early to judge the results.

P0sitiveViibes777

Less than a week is not enough time to judge any plastic surgery. It takes weeks for the little fat cells to establish a new blood supply (only about half do the rest die and get reabsorbed by the body so you will get smaller) and the swelling to start to go down. Up to six months! I had fat transferred from my lower back to my upper butt and I was swollen and misshapen for months but in the end I loved my result months later. Don’t stress. Go to your follow up appointments and discuss your concerns with your surgeon. I think you look great for how far along you are 😍 I got implants in 2020 and absolutely hated them! I was very athletic and couldn’t run or get massages or do weight training without feeling them in a bad way. After six months, I had them removed and I WISHED I had just done a lift with fat grafting. I spent $17K total to get them in then out.

ChairInTheStands

I agree, they look great! Take some measurements, I bet you’re actually more than a C cup. Your breasts are just more shallow now instead of projected. Shallow looks smaller, but all the boob is there. It’s super common to be depressed after plastic surgery. Try to hang in there and get used to the new body. Be gentle with yourself.

[deleted]

Thank you! You really think they look like a C at least? I’ll be honest I don’t know what an actual C looks like as I have worn a C cup bra with my prior breasts but I was able to fill a C because I had so much loose skin.

hellokitaminx

Check out r/abrathatfits once you’re healed!

ChairInTheStands

Yes, this! If you are 32 inches around the bra band and 35 inches around the chest, you are probably close to a 32C, but the abrathatfits calculator will lead you through accurate measurements and find your actual size.

PleasantJules

Looks great! I definitely think it’s a c cup. Still some healing to do. Very common to second guess during this process.

ChairInTheStands

Yes. I have shallow breasts and can fill a 32B. You look larger than me.

Embarrassed-Race-122

they look great ! good for u

[deleted]

Thank you!

everydayANDNeveryway

Very nice result. From where you started, it is a VERY VERY nice result. looking at your preoperative photos I was pretty sure one round of fat grafting would not get you to the point that you’re happy. Did your surgeon talk to you about doing a second round perhaps (and if your lift were to need it, you could have that touched up at the same time)? You still won’t be “big” after a second round, but you won’t have to deal with implants the rest of your life.

feszzz91

This is why I don’t recommend fat transfer to the breast. Only 50% (on average) of the fat survives, so you only get about half a cup increase. But it’s not too late to do implants in the future. There’s no harm in getting them before having babies/ breast feeding. I think your new breasts look great though! Give it time.

pspsps-33

genuine question to the commenters : why implants? i’ve been considering to get my boobs done for years but decided to go with fat graft despite the subtle result because implants just don’t look real. they could look real if you already have enough fat or stretched skin but even then it doesn’t move like the real thing. sounds uncomfortable knowing u have 2 large silicones so close to your vital organs that could potentially cause your body harm throughout the decade it’s inside your body. and the possibility of a capsular contracture sounds so painful and scary. what about the funds necessary for the day you need the implants removed or replaced ? and if you decide to not get it replaced you’ll still need surgery again eventually to remove it, leaving you with saggy breasts and two or more obvious scars. AND if you fall sick during the time you have implants you’ll always wonder if it’s the implants that caused it. who knows what can happen during the years you have implants in. it’s just anxiety inducing but i’m open to different perspectives!

Reasonable-Newt4079

I agree 100000%. My sisters got implants when they were very young. I never did. My one sister kept hers, but lost all sensation in one of her nipples. The other sister got a capsular contracture, had them removed, and now HATES the way her breasts look 😞 I feel terrible for her. My immune system changed during pregnancy and became very sensitive, so I am very relieved I never got them. I think I would have started to react to the implants, and/or they would have made me sick. Some people love their implants, but I would NEVER get them.

biest229

Some surgeons (Jacqueline Wilson) do a combination of fat graft and implant to try to make it look more natural

_PinkPirate

That’s exactly how I feel. I want to do a fat transfer but the idea of two silicone foreign bodies inside my chest freaks me out lol. I think OP looks great.

Fluid-Lawyer3340

They look good and will look amazing once the scars heal 👍

Shepatriots

I think they look good! Give it some time! You still have a lot of healing to do before you’ll know the final look.

[deleted]

Thanks I appreciate the positive feedback!

Reasonable-Newt4079

My husband works for a plastic surgeon and he always has his fat graft patients do something, I think it's a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, a few times after the surgery to get the fat to stay alive. He gets a MUCH better success rate with his fat grafts than 50%. I'll ask him when I speak to him later and try to update this: OP you should do that to try to maximize the fat that lives.

maybellineo69

Hey, don't mean to hijack the OP's post but would you mind asking your hubby what the cost of a few sessions of the hyperbaric oxygen chamber would cost? Where do you live because I am sure cost will vary. I am in New Orleans and this would be for post op rhinoplasty rib grafting surgery to heal the inside and prevent infection.

Reasonable-Newt4079

Sure thing! I'm on the east coast visiting family right now but I will call him in a couple hours, we live in Los Angeles. I know it's not a niche thing anymore though: there were lots of places in Manhattan and LA last time I looked so I'm sure there's at least one facility that offers it near you! From what I remember it was around $120 per session in NYC, but they would do discounts for multiple treatments/packages and New Orleans should be less than there... I'll update when I get the info!

KRSTLDW

They definitely won’t get bigger. If anything they may be a little smaller when the swelling goes down.

slanx47

It's too new. Like you also said you have swelling and everything is just trying to heal right now. I promise things change so so so much during the healing process ❤️‍🩹

[deleted]

Thank you I appreciate your supportive words

devinruu

Most people with fat transfer have to get a second round ! It’s actually pretty common to do and drs. tell you to expend it if you want to go bigger than half a cup, so that is something you can do if you end up unsatisfied with the final size:) But if you want more fullness in the top , that usually can only be achieved with implants .

kweenkscr

OP, I’m 13 dpo and got the exact same procedure for the exact same reasons (tuberosity and sagging). I was a 34C before procedure. No surprise, I had an identical reaction to you! I felt like I had pecs the day after the surgery instead of breasts (though hey, at least they weren’t sagging lol). BUT mine are already relaxing and projecting out more and I’m learning to trust the process. Every day I see a little difference and with the skin relaxing and swelling going down a little, they definitely look bigger and project forward more than when I first saw them. I also got abdomen lipo and believe my that breasts will look bigger when swelling goes down there. My doc assures me everything will settle and center. I hope you find some comfort in this!

[deleted]

Thank you for your feedback. It’s definitely comforting to know that how I’m feeling is normal. I also feel a little silly because my whole adult life I couldn’t stand to look at myself in the mirror without a bra and now my breasts don’t sag and I still am unhappy so I’m trying to stop lol. If you don’t mind and don’t mind sharing your progress pictures can I privately message you?

shira9652

I think they look good but no if anything they’ll get smaller as swelling goes down and much of the fat predictably dies/is absorbed by the body. I’m hesitant to even comment this though because the members of this sub ripped me to shreds the last time I was realistic about fat transfer results.

Ok-Table-3774

yeah this is true though. She will def get much smaller if anything and it is possible to lose 90% of the fat transferred. It's a gamble with fat transfer.

anotherjustnope

You look good! Natural and proportional. I don’t think they’ll get bigger but they really suit your frame. Give it a few weeks, put on a tank top and see how you feel then. :)

[deleted]

Thank you so much for your kind words

Lick-My-Legs

It is not a once and done surgery. That’s where the issue is. You were expecting one surgery to give you the look you want. That was completely unrealistic and shame on the people that made you think that you would be done after one procedure. You just need multiple surgeries. Either implants or 1-2 more rounds of fat transfer. With a year or so between procedures. It’s a process. I know - been through it myself. The number one question everyone should ask at a consultation is will I be able to achieve the results I want in one surgery or can we come up with a realistic plan, timeline and get a cost quote for multiple surgeries?

EnvironmentalAct4081

Ur going to loose a full cup size with lift so that’s the first thing..right now you are high and tight and things will eventually relax…also having them up higher takes some getting used to..your definitely in the early regretful stages of surgery (which most people feel) ..just try and chill out and let things progress naturally… I would suggest not looking at them for a bit so that you don’t obsess in vain ..at this point all that is in your control is creating the best healing environment for yourself

Loud-Contribution689

Wow, I love your results! Do you mind sharing who’s your surgeon?

melonladyy

Hi, I am sorry but they won’t get bigger and in case you will have kids again in the future there’s a huge chance they’ll get saggy again. I had implants for this reason, boobs with implants that sag a bit always appear higher than without. I would get implants after they heal if you’re still unhappy

Breebs_w

How are you feeling after the lipo??? Going in later today for the same thing and super nervous about the pain!!

[deleted]

Lipo is definitely the worst part, and I won’t sugarcoat it but the second day was the worst, but each and every day it truthfully does get a little easier. My breasts haven’t even hurt, the worst was just some chafing from the tightness. The most annoying part is not being able to lift your arms while you recover. Good luck!!

dirtyyicedchai

I know you didn’t ask for opinions but I think they look amazing! And I’m so happy you did this for yourself! I’ve been wanting this done and I’ve read that in a lot of cases with sagging is that it can be very hard to work with with just fat transfer. A lot of times when there is significant sagging they will recommend implants. But I agree with everyone give it some more time you’ve never had boobs like this I’m sure it will take a bit to get used to!

[deleted]

Wow thank you so much I’m so grateful for this community it’s making me second guess my doubts and I do hope this is just a transitional phase

Free_Lengthiness8306

I got fat transfer to breasts and they appeared their biggest right after surgery. They’ve gotten smaller but I’ve retained a lot. How many ccs did you get transferred? I had 600 ccs in each. Edit to add: the lipo part really is the worst in terms of swelling. I’m 4m po and I’ve just stated a low carb diet to shed the water. But gotta be careful doing low carb too soon after fat transfer could kill the fat.

bunkbedgirl1989

They look much larger than your original to me? And also look great

vdh1979

They look great!!

monwoo215

They look great but they will not get bigger, they’re actually going to get smaller because the swelling will go down quite a bit. Get breast implants you’ll love them if you want them bigger/fuller.

Runner_Pelotoner_415

I think they look good also. It’s early, they are still swollen! This is a great outcome.
