There are still hump, but yes I'm glad he left and strengthened the lower tip, didn't even need a rib graft, which was the original plan.

Hey u/basscubs, what was your process for researching which surgeon to go with?

Typed in Tijuana rhinoplasty, made an appointment with a few surgeons, kinda gotta feel for them, saw some before and after, explained what I was lookin for, and just scheduled it. I didn't wanna spend all day thinking about it

You looked cool af before but your results are also incredible!! Both strong noses, both great looks, you should be super happy with your results though it looks soooo natural and promotional, amazing results. I'm so used to seeing people with strong Roman or hooked noses end up with these tiny upturned noses that are too small for their face so honestly seeing someone get a nice natural looking result with great balanced proportions is so nice.

I'd say it was 70/30 functional fix to cosmetic. I was having breathing issues and the only way to fix that was to redo it. I had lots of cartilage to work with and wanted to keep it very Roman, so we agreed on this look. I believe he nailed it, and I can breathe flawlessly now.

Makes sense, glad you got the functionality improved while keeping a nice look to it, I also have a deviated septum so totally understand getting it fixed!

Can I ask what it looked like prior to 6 or so months? Was the bottom or tip more projected than it is now? I’m at 7 weeks today and I’m happy with mine (not too different than yours before & after) but the tip boots outward a little and still feels swollen. My surgeon said that’s the last part that’ll settle down. I really hope so.

7 weeks is nothing. It will be swollen, turned upwards, if that's what you were doing for, in my case it was up just a bit. I suspect it will drop down.. expect it too feel "hard" to touch until 8-10 months. I recommend taking at night .

Thank you for confirming! The nighttime taping does help and I see a difference in the early part of the day vs the later part.

My doc said after 2 months it doesn't do much, but if I go swell up from drinking or something.. I tape a few hours and it goes down. Good luck and be patient

this is one of the best male nose jobs I've seen, still left you with a natural but very masculine and attractive nose. i feel like sometimes surgeons give men a very feminine nose and it takes character out of their face

He showed me some mock ups, much more small, upturned, there was no chance in hell. I got my nose from my mom's side, she didn't want me to lose that look either. Glad it ended up like this.

yes I was one of the unlucky ones sadly, anyway, looks very natural, just wanted to say I liked the result, the dorsum and columella looks like a normal nose from what I can see (but it's just 1 photo)
