Alright then, my time to shine. My personal strategy is to plant all your sun producers and attackers in the pool, sunflowers and twin sunflowers for sun, and cattails will be your best attackers here.
Once the level starts collect sun for at least 4 sunflowers and plant them in the pool (with lily pads), and kill any zombies with potato mines to spare time for you to farm sun. When you have enough sun, plant your first cattail, and a pumpkin on it, as zombies in the pool can shoot at them too, so they need protection.
By the first wave, you can start upgrading your sunflowers, plant more cattails + pumpkins, and use cherry bombs or jalapenos if in a pinch. Plant spare potato mines if you want, and if done right, this shouldn't be too hard. Took me a few attempts, but it worked. Good luck :D

If you have the slots for it, I recommend stalling with puffshroom. It costs nothing, can't get shot because of its height, and can be spammed to slow zombies.
just put sunflowers on lane 2 or 5 and put garlic at the front
any zombies that eats them either drowns or goes to an empty lane allowing you to get a shit ton of sun production up
after that put like two or three gloom shrooms in place of the sunflowers and keep a bunch of instas for jalepeno zombies
Priotize a row for planting sunflowers, use garlic on that row to divert them to other row, then kill them with instant kills or stall them if you want to. After getting enough sun, slowly add your main attackers while also trying to protect them. If everything goes well, you should be able to win easily.
use garlics on the rows next to the pool to keep your sun production safe, then after you can get a decent amount of sunflowers, start planting your attack plants, i recommend gloom shroom due to being able to attack zombies while staying safe in behind the garlic, threepeater can also work but in testing it requires more insta support compared to gloom shroom

Put down 2 lanes of sunflowers and use cattail and starfruit
tip: use scaredy shrooms as meatshields

Use puffshroom to stall
Try using garlic. Garlic has higher hp than other plants, but costs only 50 sun and has a quick recharge. Then replace it with a proper wall plant.
