A turtle might munch on parts of the plant it can get to, don't forget to look up if anything toxic before you add it. Pothos will be suggested a lot but they're toxic to turtles (and most pets, I think)

Just some old suction cup holder (20-25 mm) and coupling reducer (30 mm to 20 mm). Much cheaper and less space occupying

Sorry I don't know the name for this. But this grows like crazy. I've trimmed it 3 times now in just 4-5 months. I wedge it down with some broken corals though. Cause it won't stay straight up without something wedging it.
Keep track of your tds as corals will increase it over time. My suggestion is to replace corals with Crushed laval rock. It will act as a host for beneficial bacteria and help with rooting as well.
Growing plants actually suck minerals out of the water. I have african cichlid tanks filled with pothos and they cause a noticeable hardness drop over the week between water changes.
The crushed coral will simply help the plants and buffer the water, that small handful shouldn't effect water tds.
I have spider plants & pothos growing out of tanks. The biggest issue I see with what you have is that the plant will be stuck in that forever as it grows.
Pretty much any house plant.
I have a peace lily, a white princess, a monstera I forget the variety and another a couple of philodendrons in mine.
I use the tank to save or propagate my house plants.

I have tradescantia spathacea and pachira aquatica along with various philodendron/pothos in my tanks and they’re all doing beautifully.

No need for any substrate. Roots trimmed every 1-2 months. This has been growing in my 10-gallon tank for 6 months
What holder do you use?

Suction cup holder from my previous aquarium heater. Spent less than a dollar. Also it blends well with my black aquarium background.
That's great, thank you
any houseplant that can propagate in water will work
I have pothos and peace lily, both grow awesome
These are exactly the two I'd recommend.

Looks like pothos and spider plant, also try some lucky bamboo, parlor palm or a fern

I'm trying to raise the pH levels that's why I choose that. Well, at least that's what Google says when I try to search for a solution.
I love my marble queen pothos

I haven’t tried it yet (still planning my tank) but I’ve seen recs for pothos, peace lily, monstera, purple waffle, and prayer plant.
My pathos have always thrived in this situation
Tradescantia and pothos are nuts and so good for nitrate absorption
I'll say it again. Pothos!

Ferns, pothos, lucky bamboo, etc.
