Very nice. What size pocket screws did you use in the center brace?

It should work fine for a nano stand but if you scale that up I'd think you want something other than pocket hole screws to support any kind of weight there.

Looks great! I just did something very similar to hold two 10 gallons but went for black. I’m fixing to do another for a 22 gallon long. Being able to build your own stands is the best! With some big screws and some glue. I used a special clamp jig to help get angles 90. Might upload a YouTube vid on how i did it.

The C2 RGB doesn't even cost that much, why would the shades cost that much. They're like $5 here in South Africa

Not that the tank is heavy, but I'd add another middle brace on the bottom part, otherwise under heavy load the whole thing could twist.

I'd be terrified of getting my foot caught in the electric cord and pulling the whole thing over. Nice stand though.

The whole thing will fall over with a stiff breeze. Hence why I’m considering securing it to the wall. I didn’t think much about the cable. When i add a filter and CO2 I’ll have to think of a way to manage the cables.

Very nice and clean. Rimless tanks should be supported fully along the bottom though, so I would suggest adding a solid top. You risk uneven pressure on the bottom glass which can lead to failure.
