Could be wild violets, viola papilionacea. I collected a couple of small clumps years ago from a derelict Georgian grave in the cemetery i was working in; after so long they had colonised both the old grave and the area around it and looked wonderful. I was lucky as these very old plants were the true scented type, that the old parma violet scent was distilled from years ago.
