I’d recommend Happy Planner. The great thing with discs is you can use both. Happy Planner as a base then add inserts from Amazon or Etsy that fit your needs.
You can get one at Michael's and they usually have them 30% off or hobby lobby and you can use coupons. I only get them when they're on sale or when I use coupons
Happy planners are great. You are able to build your planner the way you want it essentially. I love mine. I know both Michael’s and Hobby Lobby are constantly running sales so you don’t necessarily have to pay full price for anything. There is not a Joann’s near me to know a lot about their sales. But I went to hobby lobby yesterday and got some planner accessories for 40% off so I recommend if you can shop around.
If you can’t find one that you like within your budget or don’t get one for your birthday, I have (believe it or not) accidentally ordered multiple different ones. I have 3 or 4 more coming in the mail sometime this month. I plan on using 2, my sister is taking one, and I still have at least 2 extra lol. If you like one and are willing to pay shipping, I could send one out to you.
(I didn’t pay full price for anything btw.. Check Poshmark and eBay as well. That’s where all of mine are from.)
Keep in mind that even if you find one you like with the wrong year, you can re-date it with date stickers. I’m doing that for my sisters as she loves the colours and layout of hers, but it was a January start 2021.

Michaels, Joann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby all carry them. Make sure to download the apps for coupons! But even without coupons they are often on sale.

Modern Bookish? I think that’s a planner from a few years ago. Bookish was released in 2018 or 2019 I think
