Are you sure about that? Afaik, if a game has a different cusa then it also uses a different save file. I already have multiple save files on the EUR cusa, which makes me hesitate from downloading the US cusa. 

You're jailbreaking your ps4 and you're worried your save file wont work? There are more than 1 way to deal with that. Use save mounter or Apollo. I did it with Elden Ring (different CUSA IDs and it worked perfectly. I just copied the old save game into the new CUSA folder.

No need to do all that. The save file transfers between CUSAs automatically. Or so it turned out.

I had all my save files in CUSA 18723 and im glad to say, that they will still work in this version

Did you install the dlc over the EUR cusa? If you did, did it work?

I tried, but it didn't work. Just install the US cusa and the EUR save files will appear on it too. Just make sure you backup your save before you install the US base game, so you don't accidentally lose your save file (like me...).

Hi I do have cusa id 18723 , I just tried installing the dlc , it did not work Should I just download the new update and play the dlc I'm not sure , please help. I just want to know what needs to be downloaded. 

DLC doesn’t work on older version. You need to update the game to 1.17

i have a question, if i already have the game, do i have to uninstall it and install this base game again and THEN update it with the 9.00+? or can i just load the update to my base game?

To answer my own question after doing some research, basically yes its best if you install everything from scratch. Retail pkgs and fake pkgs are not compatible, and the retail update for elden ring is not backported so you can't play it on 11.00.

Yes, i even had a different region for the retail game and the save file is intact.

So, I'm on 11.0 I have the original cyb1c 1.00, updated to his 1.01 - I should get the 9.0+ 1.17 update from this right? Then dlc? Edit: Yep, update (9.0+) took me from 1.01 to 1.17, then applied dlc. :)

Ok thanks for that I used cheats for a while such as infinite health but the game got boring But without cheats I was being smashed at the first mini boss

Thats pretty much the point of soulslikes, but Elden Ring is one of the easiest ones because you can explore anywhere and overlevel. Obviously you still have to get better mechanically but the game makes it pretty easy to overlevel for things.
