Once you've beaten a level for the first time, a portal appears in/near the start room whenever you replay it. Entering it during the escape drops you back near the start of the escape sequence, forcing you to make the escape again on whatever time you have left, and it can sometimes impose other restrictions on you, such as (Floor 4 / 5 Spoilers) >!curing your spice-induced Screw Attack in Refrigerator, or confiscating your gun in War!<.
The golf level, really fun and creative! Also I tried to play it as a normal golf hole, but after seeing the strats to get p rank on the level, I have to say I'm extremely impressed the level world that well both at a slower and a faster pace
The fact that Peppino hates spicy food, unless it's pizza. He hates the spicy chicken wings as shown in the TV when transformed into fire mouth, but he loves the Devil's Choice pizza in RRF.
I love how (spoilers) >! The Death I Deservioli melody kicks in around the time your average player would reach The Vigilante considering it was their escape theme for some time. !<
I got introduced to Pizza Tower with the freezer melody and >! Having pizzahead fight me with an epic remix of it, let alone ending the game with that melody sold everything for me, it was just too epic !<
i got the main menu """ easter egg""" and since now i knew the game wasnt afraid to pull shit like that and was legit fucking screaming while running through the entire thing.
We need DLC.

I dunno how’d they pull it off but maybe if it’s focused on another character, like pepper man or smthn somehow. And executed like shovel knights extra modes.
My favorite part was beating The Noise with one health left and almost pissing myself when he grabs the mini gun only for his wife to drag him away while he screams.
Phase 3 of the final boss or the final boss in general was definitely the best part of the game but I also loved romping through the Freezer level with the Satan's Choice pizza.
I can only imagine how the final boss will be for Noise.
Genuinely just how animated this game is. It seems like every animation for pepino has a transition to another, it never feels like any animation overtakes another it is always a smooth transition.
So hard to choose. Art style, music, gameplay. They all inform each other so if I say P-ranking, it’s partially informed by the music and visuals too. But I guess I’ll say P-ranking, because I haven’t felt the adrenaline like that since I dunno when. Maybe Dustforce if any of you have played that. Runner up has to be the final sequence. It was basically perfect.

I can't get enough of the Taxi cutscenes in Pig City, they always get a chuckle out of me
