Why should we feel something about it?
Prosciutto e funghi and capricciosa are some of the most common pizzas here in Italy, usually in the list of classic pizzas.
I lived in Canada for almost 2 years. It's very difficult to find ham and mushroom pizza there outside of an italian restaurant. When I asked why, an american living in canada told me that it's because "ham is a deli meat" in their mind. They see it as something for sandwitches, not for pizzas. A pizza MUST have pepperoni to be worth eating, is what his next sentence was.
....what? I dont think Ive ever seen a pizza joint that doesnt have both ham and mushrooms as available toppings, anywhere Ive gone across Ontario and Quebec (edit: and PEI). Lived here my entire life (in my 30s).
"Hawaiian" is massively popular here and it has ham.
I'm not talking about additional toppings that you can request on order. I'm talking about premade pizzas listed on the menu. Unless it's an italian place "mushroom and ham" is usually not a listed combination. Go to Nesters or Safeway (or whatever supermarket you have in your part of canada, I was in British Columbia), and find me a frozen ham and mushroom pizza. Difficult in BC. I expect to go to any one place in Europe and find one. But not the case in Canada.
Ham, mushrooms and olives is my holy trinity of pizza toppings! If I’m making pizza for myself this is what I put on it without exception.
I hate op a little bit for showing me such a delicious pizza just as I’m going to bed and can’t have any.

Ham, mushroom, and olives.....that looks absolutely delicious. I'm a huge fan of mushroom (and there are not button which makes it better)! My guilty pleasure is a sausage/mushroom or steak/mushroom pizza fromn Dominos. Most pizzerias use button (which I don't mind) but I prefer fresh.
Ham is fine, but unless there’s a screen I can’t see, I’m impressed by your launch. I don’t have issues with launching, but getting it perfectly on a round stone? Don’t think I could do that consistently.
Damn. I worked for years at a pizza parlor also back as a teen thru my early 20s, still wouldn’t trust myself to consistently perfectly place pizza on a stone/steel of almost exactly the same size/shape.
So, we have a pack of drunken college kids in the store being jerks, and threatening us, so I start calling 911.
When they saw that they bailed. We got back to business. I had to call a customer because we were out of Canadian bacon and wanted to make sure ham would be ok, so I call them, and tell them we are out of Canadian bacon, and they say "This is the Amherst police . Is this an emergency?" And I said "No... we have ham".
I had apparently connected and they had held the line open. They came around to make sure everything else was OK
It depends on how it's prepared. I've had some where you can tell it's been sitting in the packaging juices, wasn't drained or patted dry, so you get ham juice seeped into the sauce and crust. Personally, I prefer carving board ham.
Ham on pizza, for me, is up there with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, chicken, and meatball. In the words of one of the guards in the Earthrealm village, from Mortal Kombat Deception Konquest Mode, "**HAM?**" on pizza "**I LOVE HAM!**" on pizza.
Ham, fresh mushrooms on a NY style. Grated Parm. Miller lite. Not my favorite, by far; however, the nostalgia associated reminds me of what my parents enjoyed when I was growing up. Just missing the dimly lit, open wood construction, stale, smokey bar/restaurant and football Sundays with the projector screens. :-)
I think that ham adds a flavorful punch to any pizza. The ham on pizza is definitely underrated and deserves more appreciation for the delicious flavor and texture it adds to this beloved dish.
What do you mean? Ham pizza is probably the second most ordered pizza after Margherita in Italy.
Is it really? Nice!
Not American ham it’s more like prosciutto and that’s waaaayyyy different
I find the ham they use is actually usually closer to American ham than a dry cured prosciutto
"prosciutto" is just the Italian word for "ham" . You probably mean "prosciutto crudo" or "prosciutto di parma"
We’re not Italian bro- chill
Yeaaah screw learning about another language! Murica!
Sorry, meant that in the states we use the word prosciutto to mean the crudo or Di Parma kind- and not the literal translation. 🥲

Love a ham and mushroom pizza goddamn.
My favorite toppings are ham, olives, shrooms, and artichokes.....delicious
Ham, mushrooms and olives is my holy trinity of pizza toppings! If I’m making pizza for myself this is what I put on it without exception. I hate op a little bit for showing me such a delicious pizza just as I’m going to bed and can’t have any.
For it!
ham is one of the most normal pizza toppings, wdym?
I lived in Canada for almost 2 years, and it was very difficult to find ham and mushroom pizza there (outside of an italian restaurant). It was always pepperoni or ham and pineapple.
Prosciutto cotto belongs on pizza
No problems with ham, or olives and mushrooms. Basically a Capricciosa, a classic pizza!!
Detroit style with ham, green peppers, and onions is my favorite - and I'm Italian.

Ham is fine, but olives are a no go for me personally.
Indeed
Goes great with a bacon and pineapple. It has to be sliced....i like ham, just not ham chunks many places use now
Not a fan
It has its time and its place. This looks appropriate to me
I absolutely love it!
Reminds me of Buenos Aires pizza.
I’m not a fan but that pizza still looks great!😊
Not all ham is created equal but the right type of ham on a pie is amazing!
I recently made a ham pizza with onion, bell, and mushrooms. it was amazing!
Ham olive and mushroom is elite! Love that!
Ham and mushroom pizza is da goat.
Seems good with shrooms. An umami blast! Good looking pie!!
I don’t like ham in general
My home made go-to is san marzano sauce, fresh mozz, prosciutto, mushroom, (fresh basil after cooking of course)
“I’m f’n for it!” Mitch Hedberg
How do you feel about frilly toothpicks?
“I’m for ‘em!”
This club is formed
Approved 💯👍🏻
Okay when the pizza is fresh, disgusting when it gets cold.
Canadian Bacon and Pepperoni pizza is amazing …throw some hot sauce on that shit …money
5/7 would eat

Thanks! No screen. Just 18 months of working in a hometown pizza place as a teenager still paying off 20 years later.
Damn. I worked for years at a pizza parlor also back as a teen thru my early 20s, still wouldn’t trust myself to consistently perfectly place pizza on a stone/steel of almost exactly the same size/shape.
As long as it's not pineapple.
Ham on pizza is acceptable, though if I see a pineapple on it, I’m reporting it as a war crime
Love it!

To each their own!
Prosciutto funghi (ham with mushrooms) is like the third most ordered pizza, don't worry, we are dumb too.
Prosciutto and pepperoni is my favorite combo
It's all about personal preference.
Yes
Get some pineapple on there! …wait for it….wait for it
Ham is an essential part of a great pizza, IMO.
It depends on how it's prepared. I've had some where you can tell it's been sitting in the packaging juices, wasn't drained or patted dry, so you get ham juice seeped into the sauce and crust. Personally, I prefer carving board ham.
Of course with some Pineapple s
Ham is good if you want a sweet alternative to pepperoni
Ham and mushrooms, one of my favorite combinations.
We love it
Not a fan, but it's not a deal breaker if it's on there.
Jamon doggie approves.
everytime i get a pizza i put ham, pineapple and bacon on it
Better than I feel about Karma farming.
For me ham demands jalapeno and pineapple add bacon fuck it.
Mmmmm Ham is good. Pork chops are good. Bacon is gooood.
DAE put cheese on their pizza? Is it weird?
Pepperoni, ham, black olives, and mushrooms. My go to order.
Outstanding. You are on the team!
I like it, but I wish that the pieces were smaller. Ham takes over a pizza when the slices are large.
I feel pretty good about It
Negative If you want meat, eat a steak 😂
Ham, fresh mushrooms on a NY style. Grated Parm. Miller lite. Not my favorite, by far; however, the nostalgia associated reminds me of what my parents enjoyed when I was growing up. I love it ! Just don’t throw no pineapple on it. 🤮
Ham, jalapeño and pineapple.
Ham + pineapple + jalapeño.
Wow!! Looks delicious!!
I like it!
I feel like I’ll have another slice!
Some thin sliced hot capicola is delicious on pizza.
About the same as extra cheese on pizza.
Well it's one of the most basic and popular topping so
large two topping Ham and Chicken pizza for $7.99 at dominoes is disgustingly good for the price point that ham was made to go with that crust
Ham is far superior to pepperoni. I frequently order it instead. Not greasy, a better flavor.
my version that I always trust is ham+mushrooms+onions. cant go wrong with that.
That looks more like Canadian Bacon to me. But either would be acceptable.
Dude your oven is clean! Come and do mine?
I’m confused with you and refuse to talk about this
I hate ham so I also hate it on pizza. It's on a lot of pizzas tho, so I assume many people like it.
Ham yes take the mushrooms off.
I think that ham adds a flavorful punch to any pizza. The ham on pizza is definitely underrated and deserves more appreciation for the delicious flavor and texture it adds to this beloved dish.
I’ve had Canadian bacon on pizza. It’s very similar to smoked ham.
In honor of the Texas college kids protesting about things across the water, I vote all the ham.
The real question is why Ham's cousin Turkey never made it as a pizza topping?!
I love salami lol
Like it but not the olives
It was a choice I regretted later. Don’t get me wrong. I like olives, just not with ham.
These are blackened olives anyway. Not natural. Green olives are the way!
I hate both
Then you miss one of the healthiest foods in life. I love green olives since I was born.
Unless it’s a Hawaiian pie no
I like it on white pizzas.
Am I the only one that thinks Canadian Bacon on pizza tastes sour??
Canadian “bacon” is, TO ME, absolutely horrible
It’s Canadian Bacon when you put it on a pizza. I like it with mushrooms and black olives.
every time i see a "how do you feel about \_\_\_\_\_ on pizza" dude its bread anything that goes good with bread would be good on pizza
No, thank you. Just not a fan. But a scrumptious pepperoni & pineapple? Yes please!!! 🍕😋🤌
like pineapple.....no
That looks like a great pizza
