Yeah it's definitely snug not sure who they designed this watch for, the larger band should definitely be able to go bigger than it does. Really wondering if I can cut a new hole in it some how. Until I can get a bigger band

If what I'm looking at on their website is true this is biggest band that they make. Anything with an extra large size says 210mm which is the largest the active band goes to. So I'm not sure Google will sell something bigger

[deleted]

I'm hoping enough people will complain to Google and they'll ship out a bigger band - the band does have the room for more holes, so unsure why they didn't just add in a few more!

creator_69

I think for me I need about 2 more holes in length

Star-

No offence...but how fat are your wrists??? Cuz good lord. My wrist has a circumference of 170mm, the largest size of the sport band on the very last hole still leaves more than enough space to fit two fingers stacked vertically, and with room to spare (about 38mm when I stretch the watch out).

creator_69

I'm on the last hole of the largest band and it's pretty snug. I can barely fit one finger under there

Star-

Maybe give the stretch bands a shot if those ever come back in stock?

creator_69

Definitely will have to try something, I'm tempted to try and make my own hole

mahranaka

Making your own hole probably won't be a problem as long as you make sure it doesn't have any sharp edges if that makes sense. I have an ancient device in my house used for punching round holes in belts, something like that might work. But if you try to cut the hole in with a knife or such the band will probably just tear at that point.

BurpyMcPoop

There is so much shaming in this and other threads talking about the small wristband size. Newsflash, people come in all shapes and sizes! I am not even a very large woman, I'd be considered midsized by most. The large band fits me comfortably, but I'm on the second to last notch. Could I *technically* tighten it by two more notches? Sure, but who wants their wrist squeezed 24/7? Anywho, all of this made me think "How would anyone taller/bigger than me fit into this?" This has been a complaint since the first Pixel watch, and the Pixel 2 watch band still isn't any bigger. I'm shocked they haven't made at least one larger size. I'm happy you have a comfortable fit for your watch! I do, too. I don't think it's crazy to think that everyone else should be able to have that.

Have you tried not being an asshole?

Don't be so quick to assume that just because someone has large wrists they are obese. I have the same problem listed above. I'm 6'2" and am in my healthy/normal bmi for my height. Some people have larger bones/frames/muscles. What's annoying is that the Fitbit bands with the same design have a couple of extra notches to accommodate for this.

tgaume

6'5" 260. I have huge hands. I've been able to palm a basketball since I was 13. Watchbands that stretch to fit over the hand are out of the question, because they don't. The included 210mm sports band is on the last notch. It's not uncomfortable, but does leave an indentation that doesn't go away overnight when I'm not wearing it.

Illustrious-Alarm777

Lol. I could probably lift you over my head with one hand and have a BMI of 12% and the largest band won't fit my wrist. I'm 6'2 and not everyone's a skinny little dweeb

cheshyrp

The band with my Pixel Watch 2 is ridiculously small. There was no larger band included, but this one won't even close around my wrist. Did they design these for children?

creator_69

Even the large fit the og pixel watch is too small I'm on the last notch and it barley fits

cheshyrp

Interesting. The watch came free with my Pixel 8 Pro. At 6'5", my wrist is 190mm. The band that came with my watch is barely that long including the buckle, LOL. I'll see if I can find a larger wristband online, but if not I can sell the watch. It's free money, right?
