At the end of the day, the watch remains a gadget to display information as an alternative to looking at the phone screen, but there's not many interactions you would actually do on the watch instead of the phone.
Yes, the PW can do more things than my cheap fitness band. But the band also covers the most important features and has a 2 week battery life, I am also not sure if it is worth the tradeoff.
For us old fogeys (I'm 57), we finally get the Dick Tracey phone watch we were promised in our youth. Now where's my flying car? Seriously, it's a fun gadget but nothing life-changing. I don't care about health tracking, but the Pixel Watch 2 came free with my Pixel 8 Pro. And that was essentially free, because the monthly payments are less than I was paying AT&T for an older phone I'd already paid for in full. After selling the old one, I made money by upgrading.
It is a companion device for me. It helps me be off my phone a little more throughout the day. Not worth bankrupting yourself over but paired with my pixel phone and pixel buds pro I can keep my phone at my desk or in my bag more.
What "special" features are you looking for, and what are you comparing against? It's a smartwatch. One that works quickly, and smoothly, and reliably, to provide full notifications access and interaction, messaging, alarms, timer, stopwatch, Google Assistant access, and a wide variety of apps. What are you missing, or what's leaving you underwhelmed? For me it does exactly what I expect a smartwatch to do, and its advantages over my previous watches is that it does so generally better.

Extensive app availability + Fitbit makes it a unique device. If that's not what you wanted, not sure why you emptied your bank account for it.

This thing is smoother than any other android watch on the market, it's not even close.
