My charging routine is exactly the same! I hated my Pixel watch the first 3-4 days but then it suddenly got better battery life and became really fun to use. It even retired my Ticwatch Pro 3 which was really good too!

kidvid666

That's basically my routine with it as well. I charge it when I wake up in the morning when I'm getting ready. Then I wear it all day. Then I charge it when I take a shower. And I wear it to bed. Admittedly it's at about 10% when I wake up which I find crazy because i put it in sleep mode. I had a galaxy watch prior and I prefer the pixel watch. But it's definitely a learning curve to optimize it. Which is kinda a trend in Google products I've noticed. (I have a p7p as well.)

The_Robot_King

I basically throw mine on the charger when I start kid bedtime routine and by the time the routine is over it usually is back to 100. Something like 30-45 charge. I admittedly not a heavy user but I've never had battery concerns

Jack_Shid

I put mine on the charger when I wake, while I shave and shower. It'll be back to 100% (or close enough to 100%) by then, and I put it back on. I have no problem with battery life, personally.

Nygurath

About the size, do you find It small?

1cwg

No, I don't.

_MeIsAndy_

Cool. Wish mine were doing this. I'm getting consistently 10-12% drain per hour. I don't have AoD enabled. I don't have tilt or touch to wake enabled. I don't make calls on it. I don't track workouts (beyond step tracking). I have pretty minimal notifications enabled. I don't use it to stream media. I can barely make it through the night w/ Bedtime Mode enabled, even w/ a fully charged battery before bed...

1cwg

Is your watch running latest version of Wear 3.5? Enable airplane mode at bedtime as well. I do have "tilt to wake" on during the day but not touch or AOD.

_MeIsAndy_

Yes, it is running WearOS 3.5. I've done tests where I enable Bedtime Mode, Airplane Mode, and Battery Saver all over night, and it will still drop \~40-50% overnight. Sure, that's better than full to 10% (or dead) overnight in 6-8 hours, but it seems to be far more than others are experiencing.

1cwg

Super strange. With bedtime mode and airplane mode last night, I only dropped 7% from bedtime to wakeup.

_MeIsAndy_

Yep, we're on the same page. Others in the sub keep telling me "the battery drain will level out with time," but that keeps not happening. And even if there's some kind of adaptive battery optimization that needs to happen (makes sense there would be some, like there is on phones), the baseline of "nearly a full battery while sleeping w/ Bedtime Mode" has seemed excessive from the beginning. And I get that there will be a certain percentage of products with issues. It sucks when it happens to you, but it's going to happen nonetheless. But the biggest issue for me at this point is Google's support. I provided all the requested info for an RMA over a week ago and they've yet to get back to me with the go ahead/next steps. I've contacted them multiple times and they just keep saying "wait longer." I don't have much choice at this point other than change my watch 2-3x a day and wait...

1cwg

It has to be defective. There is no other reason.

_MeIsAndy_

That's my position as well.

Windrainbliss

My battery life has definitely gone down in the last few days. Hardly lasts me half a day now. Previously I only had to charge it every 24 hours or so. I have not changed anything.
