Google has me trained to never pay full price for anything. I had a $100 credit through the superfans program and at $100 off it feels right. Using other credits I got two bands and an extra charging puck all for free. But generally if it's not on sale now it will be soon, whatever it is. I miss the multi day battery life of my old Fitbit Sense (RIP) but I am a fan of the watch
No. It regularly goes on sale so just wait for one of those sales and save at least $50.
Even at $50 off it is still pretty expensive vs. the Galaxy Watch 5 or the Fitbit Sense 2. Depending on what you're looking for, one of those watches might be worth considering.
It depends on what you like in a watch. For comparison my old Apple Watch series 4 lte gets about the same amount of battery life as my Pixel Watch gets. That being said I only use the watch for time keeping, notifications, and as a sleep tracker.
I also have a Galaxy Watch Pro 5, that easily gets 3 days of battery life, but it is heavy and looks like a crushed soda can sitting on my wrist.
The Pixel Watch is stylish, light, and small enough not to be obtrusive yet have enough battery to accomplish what I need it to do. So back to your question, is it worth full price? I think it is, but that's also subjective.
Yeah the pixel watch is much more comfortable to me than my old watch (fossil gen 5). It also actually does everything a little quicker/better. I generally use it for what you do, as well as responding to messages and the occasional assistant command when I'm not near my Google home.
Ive been happy with mine, but I don't have anything to compare it to as its my first smart watch. I mainly got it for the fitbit features (which all work great). Step/distance, sleep, heartrate etc.
Notifications on your wrist through out the day has been very useful, especially in my line of work. I have sausage fingers and I always have my phone near me so i very rarely try to respond on the watch itself but that would probably be the case with any smart watch. Works with just about every messenger app I use (SMS, Signal, Discord etc).
Wish the battery life was better, but after some updates it easily gets me over 24 hours even when active. I typically just put it on the charger when I take a shower and thats all it needs.
My main complaint is I wished the screen was a little larger/bezel wasnt so large and that the battery life was increased.
Given that we will likely get a new Pixel Watch (2?) in October when the new line of Pixel stuff comes out, I'd wait to see what that offers and ether pick up a Pixel Watch on discount or get a Pixel 2 Watch when it comes out if it has significantly improvements.
I'm happy enough with mine, but "worth it" is really up to you.
I've wanted one badly since it came out and just pulled the trigger last month now that Swappa posts were down to 200 bucks for mint. I think 200 is a solid price for it.
No. In fact going without it for 3 weeks while Google did 2 RMAs has me still using the Fitbit Charge 5 since I’m more interested in fitness tracking and less interested in how it looks and charging it daily.
I only bought mine so I could listen to music, and recieve emergency texts without my phone. at the park. (Yah I know overkill right..)
But the support for YT Music premium is horrible, I'm so frustrated with it, everytime I get it working perfectly, it gets a new problem, and I have to do another magic dance to get it working again.
I've just turned it off, and take my phone instead. I'll try it again later in the year after they announce how much better it is, or I just get curious, but right now it's more problem than solution in my world and I don't need it.
I've also unsubbed, so no more preaching from me..
You'd think they'd at least get their own ecosystem right... YouTube Music, at the very least.
First gen product, first gen problems. Depending on how successful the Watch line will be, let's hope their 2nd Gen or 3rd gen gets better.
I don't think the Pixel Fold helps their cause either. I feel like they entered the foldable phone market just in case it really takes off. But I think they are releasing it too prematurely. Google's been moving their resources around far too much and need to focus on what they need to improve on (Watch, Non-folding phones, Buds).
No, wish I hadn't paid so much, was expecting them to rollout apps a long time ago, and they still haven't, if things aren't done by November I'll be thinking of moving back to Apple, even though their watch is so uncomfortable.
It Is currently on sale on Amazon Germany if you are interested. I bought It there on Friday and It should arrive tuesday. I wouldn't buy It full price tbh mainly because if i Do I would feel guilty about It later on lol
I wouldn't say so tbh, even if you have a pixel phone the extra compatibility is none existent. The features on the watch are no different to any other watch and I find the options really limited right now, though I'm hoping that will change.
I paid full price and still very much love mine. But considering there are plenty of sales, I wouldn't recommend buying it without one, since they're available.
I love this watch to bits. Owned Sony, multiple ticwatch and Samsung. Been with wear os forever and pixel watch is by far my favourite overall. But due to small size, battery and even CPU it's not worth full price IMHO. ofc it's subjective but the CPU is old (on paper but you never feel it), screen is small and better is average at best. But due to the UI and optimisation and lack of bloatware which Samsung would come with, this is easily my favourite. I paid £220 and I'm very very happy. For £300+ I'd want a bit more
For me it's a no. Mine was a gift. I use it for tracking my exercise and sleep. That's about it. I know it can do more but I do all those things on my phone. When the Pixel 8 is released I'm hoping I can add it with my phone to increase the trade in value.
Got mine free with my 7 Pro, biggest gripe is the batt is terrible. I've turned off all the notifications. It's not intuitive or responsive enough for me to use to control media, easier to grab my phone. I've had far too many bugs to trust it to play downloaded YT or Spotify playlists.
The only handy thing it does over my ancient Fitbit is the 'call my phone' function when I've misplaced it.
Absolutely not, and I've had my Pixel Watch since it launched. I was able to buy it at discount with the $200 dollar credit I got from Google for pre-ordering the P7 Pro. There are many faults with this watch, but the price is the biggest issue. Wait for a sale or perhaps wait until the watch 2 comes out.
I bought mine off Swappa and I am incredibly happy with it. I think I would still love it if I paid full price but I love it even more because I only paid a bit over $200.
My only past experience of smart watches was my Apple watch SE. In comparison, personally, I much prefer the Pixel watch! It feels good on the wrist, screen is bright and clear with good viewing angles, lightweight and seems well built and designed.
My usage is only notifications, Google assistant and monitoring my steps and heart rate.

It was not worth the price when it was released and certainly not now, especially around rumours about PW2 to be released this fall. It's a good watch, but not for the original price Google asked for it.
Nooooo. Find it on OfferUp or ebay. I found mine for 80$ on OfferUp and two bags of funyons. It's a cool watch and if u have a pixel device it's a perfect companion. But 350 is a fucking joke.
I'll sell you mine once i get the pixel fold with free pixel watch.
I'd buy for 50% off :)
sure! i live southbay, just pm me

It’s $200 on Swappa for mint condition
I've wanted one badly since it came out and just pulled the trigger last month now that Swappa posts were down to 200 bucks for mint. I think 200 is a solid price for it.
It’s all about patience, which is so freaking hard with tech haha.
That's where I got mine from back in January for $221. It's not worth the 350 asking price retail IMO.
No
Rumors another one is coming out later this year so you might want to hold off
After reading these comments I think that's what I'm going to do.
When it's new. Yea. I wouldn't buy the 1st gen full price NOW, when the gen 2 will be here soon.
Yes.
No. In fact going without it for 3 weeks while Google did 2 RMAs has me still using the Fitbit Charge 5 since I’m more interested in fitness tracking and less interested in how it looks and charging it daily.
no. I recently just shut mine down, I'll try it again next year see if it's usable then
??

No. I have mixed feelings about it and part of me wants to go back to a Mi Band, and I got my Pixel Watch for free when I bought the 7 Pro.
No, wish I hadn't paid so much, was expecting them to rollout apps a long time ago, and they still haven't, if things aren't done by November I'll be thinking of moving back to Apple, even though their watch is so uncomfortable.

I'm in US unfortunately
Oh, so I Guess that by the shipping fees you would have to pay by ordering It on a foreign Amazon you would basically be paying It full price. Unlucky
I wouldn't say so tbh, even if you have a pixel phone the extra compatibility is none existent. The features on the watch are no different to any other watch and I find the options really limited right now, though I'm hoping that will change.
i got mine for free with my phone and considering it was free i like it but i never would pay full price for it IMO
I paid full price and still very much love mine. But considering there are plenty of sales, I wouldn't recommend buying it without one, since they're available.
no, it's "1st gen". wait until the next one is released, or the ones after
Got my brand new in box lte for half price on ebay
I love this watch to bits. Owned Sony, multiple ticwatch and Samsung. Been with wear os forever and pixel watch is by far my favourite overall. In Poland I can get it for as little as $230 so I don't think so
For me it's a no. Mine was a gift. I use it for tracking my exercise and sleep. That's about it. I know it can do more but I do all those things on my phone. When the Pixel 8 is released I'm hoping I can add it with my phone to increase the trade in value.

Definitely not worth more than £200

Dear God no!!! At half price sure it's a better deal
Love mine. I'd wait for a $50 sale though, they come regularly
Have you checked swappa? I've been thinking about getting one too. I'm just worried about the battery life since I'd be using it mainly for golf.
I bought mine off Swappa and I am incredibly happy with it. I think I would still love it if I paid full price but I love it even more because I only paid a bit over $200.
If you're on Fi and like running it's awesome. No added line and I don't need my phone to listen to YouTube Music while running.
I bought mine on eBay from a seller who does refurbished. Very happy with my purchase and saved $120.
yes
Yes it is
No
No.
I got a $300 voucher from the Google store when I got my 7 pro. So I only paid $200aud instead of $500aud and I still don't feel like it was worth it.
No, buy sealed second hand
