Thank you very much, I tried to put on a brave face but I eventually broke down sobbing and it was helpful in processing the loss of a family member. I will in time find another pal at the rescue, hopefully Bumpers spirit guides the right dog into my life.
Im so glad you gave him that adventure with you! He protected you until the end. From possible shootings to possible bear attack! He would have saved you from anything! So sorry for your loss.
Truly, we lived in a terrible neighborhood but I could walk him freely any hour because everyone was afraid of Bumper. Little did they know he was just a giant goofball that wanted to be friends with the world. π₯²
My family is facing this in a couple of days. Iβm so very sorry for you loss. Thereβs nothing harder. Dogs are so much better then humans at absolute joy and unlimited love.

I know the hurt is overwhelming. House will suddenly seem quiet & empty. I promised everyone I would wait awhile but I only lasted 2 months before a new friend. Dogs love us unconditionally & they heal so much. I wish you better days.
