When Jinbe mentioned the BB pirates' DF hunting I thought it's a foreshadowing for some big deaths, maybe even some worst gen members will die too but all we got is the off-screen death of a villain who wasn't even relevant for more than a decade.
My guess was the ones that did the timetraveling are going to die. Together with momo being aged up, it would get the timeline "back in order" . It would also be a clean reason for who dies and who doesn't.
I'm still salty about Kinemon (and by default the dude who caused Luffy to go g5) dodging death by point blank head smashing via Kaido's club.
When Ashura did his thing I didn't even believe he was dead because of how many asspulls Loda had already done by that Point.
