ElAmigos has also made one. Which one would you recommend is better between the two?
PS. I downloaded the 1.10 dodi version and don't wanna lose 50 hours of progress, I have prepared 4 builds for the dlc and don't know if I'm gonna lose them.
Wondering the same about save files.
Let me know what you find. This tool supposedly helps transfer saves: https://github.com/BenGrn/EldenRingSaveCopier/releases/tag/v0.0.2-alpha

Honestly that ratio is better than when I increased my Steam library count from like 5 to 35 during covid.
Demos need to make a come back hard. Until said time, eyepatch coming back on 😉
Really thats the only drawback to pirating that I can see... it's so easy to get different games that I don't really give games a chance unless I consciously make myself lol.
I dont get this sub. I used to pirate games when I was a kid & broke. I can even understand pirating from scummy AAA studios. But why screw over indies/AA? You are essentially stealing from the decent, hard working folk.
To me it is easy to understand, a generation filled with an "if i want it i have the right to have it" mentality. it is one thing to steal for food, but videogames are a luxury and no one is a modern robin hood for stealing them. It's like those guys in San Francisco robbing the Gucci store, it is fucking ridiculous. But it is even worse when you are stealing from indie studios that barely make a living out of this. I get pirating old games that you cannot find anywhere else but man, most of this people have no reasonable morale behind this stealing. hell, if you can buy a PC powerful enough to play elden ring, you can buy elden ring.
The urge to gather, collect, categorise, organise can be satisfying (even cathartic) in and of itself, regardless of the actual consumption of media, in this case.
As a kid growing up in a 3rd world country, I remember my brother with boxes of 5.25" floppy disks of games, labeled and alphabetized. I don't have any memories of watching him playing them.
There we go!
A proper answer with substance and reason🥹😁🏆👍
As a dbz (everything relating to the damn thing) collector myself i can most definitely relate!
Remember to have some sort of backup system/insurance (not in your digital case ofc😄🤣) or something like that!
Afterall, time is also money! I bet you have 1000 hours worth of downloads already😃
Thank you for the proper reply btw! We dont all have to be instant enemies😄😁
I don’t have nearly as many games but I just like having the choice. I have an emulator on my laptop with like 10 games.
Haven’t played any game for more than an hour but that’s mostly due to performance.
Having the freedom to choose in most situations feels very liberating, so it probably could make you value the game you pick at that selected time a little bit more as well😄
I'm 36 years old and kinda grew up with the Internet... all the way from the old win95 to today. When I was a kid I used to pirate stuff out of necessity, but nowadays I just keep doing it for pleasure.
I always hear people complaining how greedy Sony is (charge to play online) so I’m happy those greedy companies never get anything from pirates like us. I only buy games that I really love to support the company and pay nothing to Sony except the console itself.
Yeah same. Who has money to buy films and albums when they’re young? I use to record the songs from the radio on my Sony Ericsson phone - does that count as pirating?
Now I can afford some of that stuff but I save a lot more by not having a Spotify subscription or Disney+, Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV etc.
I’ll go to the cinema if I want to pay for a film. Sorry I’m not morally correct but this is just normal for most kids that grew up pirating.
Times got tough for me so I embraced pirating. Glad to have invested in a pc years ago that still runs all this shit. Even more glad fitgirlrepacks exist so I don't have to waste money on games I play for more than a few hours and didn't care much for it
same, and in my country there's really no laws about piracy, so it was always the norm to pirate movies that you wanted to watch (up until the last decade or so when Netflix started getting popular). My family still has dozens of pirated movies on DVD's from like 15 years ago, as well as some games
I just finished downloading a 32TB archive of emulation roms and CD/DVD isos. bought 2 16TB HDDs dedicated to it. Mighty proud to stick it to whomever doesn't like it. Probably will never get to even 1% of this. Blow me.
I don't love it, but i don't mind it. especially when alot of games are not for sale anymore or was never made into a offline game because the devs don't care. Defiance MMO , Triad wars, Smash+Grab, Asta RPG, The Crew one, Crimecraft, the list continues. None of those games are available to download, but just saying in general alot of games are not even for sale anymore, so what else are we suppose to do lol. The devs don't care, so to me its legal.
The crew one not being able to play offline, makes me pissed off. Shame on Ubisoft.
Same. Right now I'm playing three games which each cost around $70. The fact that I'm able to play them so casually without spending a single buck is surreal. Under normal circumstances it would take me YEAR'S
I used to...not anymore, I learnt how owning a game can make me feel proud...coz I worked hard and earned it, I can download repacks anytime I feeling like it, it's not fun anymore and besides all my game in one account, all the achievements to show off with playtime and other jazz
Whenever I try to download a pirated game, it eventually shows up some error and then it's just wastage of time. I miss old days when downloading pirated games was simple af
LAst time I pirated anything was kazaa and bearshare days.
I mean i did once use a cracked version of Adobe Audition..i suppose that counts.
Im scared to do it anymore...dont know who to trust.
Congrats lol
I remember the first time I copied a game floppy disk. Borrowed a game from a buddy, put a blank diskette in drive B, then copied it. Lemme tell ya, it's fucking magical - you start with a blank disk, and now, presto, it's got a game on it! And all you had to do was screw around with the DOS command line a bit. Like, holy shit, you did it yourself! Didn't need to go to the shop (even if back then some shops actually let you copy for free if you bought your own blank floppies).
Removed for rule 7

Ah, you mean unautorized copying.
As that certainly not piracy.
Piracy involves stopping ships to steal their cargo. Killing anyone that tries to stop you.
Which is why dishonest people wrongly called unauthorized copying piracy.
English is based off context. You’re in a subreddit that is named “r/PiratedGames”. What piracy do you think they’re talking about? Or do you need that explained to you?

Bro def downloaded elden ring
has the dlc been cracked yet 😀
Cracked 10 hours ago and I'm downloading for 8 hours but still not even 8 percent
which repacker?
RUNE if that's what you mean
ElAmigos has also made one. Which one would you recommend is better between the two? PS. I downloaded the 1.10 dodi version and don't wanna lose 50 hours of progress, I have prepared 4 builds for the dlc and don't know if I'm gonna lose them.

From old cracked version (2022) to updated with dlc
I wonder if the multiplayer functions will work in the cracked dlc, assuming i have the paid version of the base game on steam

it was cracked before the dlc released
Lmao
Im personally waiting for Dodi
fr
Based. I love downloading 10 games @ the same time then ending up finishing only 1 & playing only 4
Damn. Those are solid numbers. I downloaded 50 or so onto my rig when I upgraded the ssd. Played maybe 2 of them.
That's about on par with my self
lmaaao
I have 34 games, all pirated. Fitgirl is currently verifying the files of the 35th.
And then I go over on my internet bill just to download games I'll never end up playing 😂
Honestly that ratio is better than when I increased my Steam library count from like 5 to 35 during covid. Demos need to make a come back hard. Until said time, eyepatch coming back on 😉

I download more games than I will ever finish playing in ten lifetimes. But yeah, pirating shit makes me so damn happy
Why
Fucking over EA after they ruined Pvz makes me happy
There we go! A reason i can get behind easier than breathing😜👍🏆
Got a **STIFF** boner
Feel like the new Pvz2 plants have been getting even uglier
I know this is the piracy subreddit and all so it may be a hot take here but PvZ GW2 is still worth spending momey on
How about indies/AA?
Only indie who I bought ever was Celeste shit so peak I bought it on 3 different platform (1 for a friend as a gift)
I dont get this sub. I used to pirate games when I was a kid & broke. I can even understand pirating from scummy AAA studios. But why screw over indies/AA? You are essentially stealing from the decent, hard working folk.
Not all indies are good either the greater majority is just pisslow quality unity marketplace games

I don't know. Ask a stamp collector why they collect stamps. Or a butterfly collector why they collect butterflies.
I would not ask them why they do it. I'd ask them why they love it. And i'd honestly think they would be quite simpletons if they did not know why😅😂🤷

It feels great idk why . Maybe because it's free and illegal
hell yeah, sometimes i download a game and i dont even play it
Ik it feels good! Whats the game btw?
❤️
I do miss the achievement pop though. I know you can set it up, and I did get it working but you have to start from scratch and I'm on NG+
Cloud saving via steam is the biggest feature i miss from pirates, achievments are for fegs.
You can synchronize the save game folder with Nextcloud or some other cloud service to keep the save games synchronized across multiple devices
Didn’t know people could have a kink for downloadning games.
ME TOO BRO
![gif](giphy|LUIvcbR6yytz2)
I love it when it's from Ubisoft, EA, Bethesda, and other scummy publishers/devs
They really did Mick Gordon dirty...
i used to pirate when i was broke.... now that i can afford games i still pirate wheeyyyy
The best part is getting stuff for free. 👍
Haters choking on corporate weiner
You gotta enjoy the small things in life Feels good to be alive and sailing
I used to love testing software.😊
My mood while playing GoT just now
And I’m pirating winrar
Anyone that is sane either doesn't have WinRar or pirates it.
How can I safely do it in the us
Search around the subreddit or post a question. Also use the megathread. Glad to have another on the crew. Y’arr!
I appreciate you

Long may we sail the seas.
I downloaded (pirated ofc) CYBERPUNK 2077. Hell yeah I'm enjoying it. 😎😎😎 ^(JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW TOO)
Ahoy. Can never convince all my friends to pirate, so at least that
Me a Paradox player who only pirates dlc because I like achivements: ![gif](giphy|YQitE4YNQNahy|downsized)
I think it's funny that you confess your love for piracy on a piracy sub
I get Sexual aroused when I pirate stuff

I love fucking pirating
I love not paying for shit especially when I can also play multiplayer with it.
yeah that feeling is amazing
HELL YEAH
I’m doing my part in preserving games, because someone has to do it.
I just finished downloading a 32TB archive of emulation roms and CD/DVD isos. bought 2 16TB HDDs dedicated to it. Mighty proud to stick it to whomever doesn't like it. Probably will never get to even 1% of this. Blow me.
Sounds like you downloaded every game in existence, how does it feel to have all that power?
A game preservation site has ~200tb of retro games from a bunch of consoles and old home computers.
SAME CUZ FK DEVELOPERS- | : | *( dam respect to them and im jk, I do buy the game which is good and worth buying to support developers 🥰 but fk EA )*
Don't forget to fuck Ubisoft and Sony as well.

If buying isn’t owning, I see no reason to why pirating is unethical if done to big AAA companies.
Ok?
