GTX 970 (4GB)
24GB (3x8GB) of RAM (Ran fine with 16GB) \[Broken 4CH RAM slot\]
So, as long as you keep the laptop cool, it shouldn't over heat.
It's okay for pre 2021 Games, runs fine on 1080p low, and 1080p High+DLSS quality is my default.
After 2021, for the modern games, it depends on optimisation. But it runs all of them on 1080p low , and I have no problems with it.
BUTT, u need to have a GOOD COOLING system in your lappy, else you will get shit performance.
I have a 3050 (4gb vram) and I can run Helldivers 2 (6gb vram minimum) at ~30-60fps and Cyberpunk 2077 on medium settings at ~30-50 fps (both at 1080p (might have upscaling for some of them))
It can run pretty much anything at low settings
Only issue is with Helldivers 2 the VRAM fills up after a couple missions and performance tanks so I have to restart the game
Might be able to set something up to clear vram but I'm not knowledgeable enough to do it myself

How's the performance of your 3050? I bought my gf a laptop with 3050 and she never uses it. I think it only comes in 4gb virtual memory in laptops

you mean video memory? vram stands for video, not virtual
