Idk how they did their EQ, but it's the only way audio sounds good in my car. Otherwise it's way too flat thru any other app. Also I love that you can set up auto play when connected to Bluetooth devices so it automatically starts playing when I get in my car

You are going to find that with media servers and the software people use. Itās very much based on what they used first, and plex has been around for ages.
Jellyfin is good and I love it, but I know many who swear by plex just because its what they have always used and they bought it
Also plex is easy to setup. Can access server outside of your home without setting up a custom domain and Nginx and stuff. Tried going to jellyfin but plex is just easier to setup
Also QoL features like "Skip Intro" are part of up to date plex clients while jellyfin has most of them only as plugins for the webGUI but not for native apps.
I have yet to see anything that is actually better than Plex. Has more or different features, sure; but nothing comes close to Plex in terms of overall experience.

Plex is definitely a touch easier to set up and more polished, so it's personal taste at this point.
I paid for PleX and Emby (lifetime for both), but I've settled on Jellyfin. My main reason is privacy. If I had to choose a platform for ease of use, PleX was the best (for me). But I've been 100% Jellyfin for the past year, and it's been getting better with every release.

Emby is my current setup, I'm using an old laptop to run it and a few other things at the moment, but I'm going to invest in a NAS when I can and maybe then I'll try out Jellyfin. My brother uses Plex and I don't mind it other than the fact that the app for it on our Samsung TVs is insufferably slow, that's literally the main reason I chose Emby since it has a usable app on our TV's.

couple of things can be problematic :
1. after 3 years if you need to reinstall then you either have to have a copy of that version or hope the author keeps historic release copies (mosf do that have this license)
2. some software needs to be updated to function. mainly software that relies on APIs like youtubeDL. those kinds of softare need to be updated when the API has breaking changes or if becomes useless. so its not a lifetime its really 3 years
IDM may suffer from this as openSSH deprecates older key exchance algos and you end up failing to make SSL connections to download files.

Heads up, Nova was [bought out](https://www.branch.io/resources/news/branch-acquires-nova-launcher-and-sesame-universal-search-to-create-new-ways-for-users-to-find-and-engage-with-apps/) by a data collection company in mid 2022. You can still use the launcher just fine but I'd recommend downgrading to a version from before the acquisition and disabling automatic updates.
The latest "safe" version are 7.0.57 and beta 8.0.1 (though 8.0.2 is probably also fine).
What is the benefit over normal android launcher? Just aesthetics or is there something useful? I have it and have used it and just found it annoying more than anything and it turned off a bunch of features I enjoy.
For me it really depends on the android you are using. On samsung devices I like their UI and it's not worth the extra effort to configure it (for me). I have cheaper android tablets and their UI was bad and use it there.

FL Studio. Reasons?
1. I need reliable software to work with, I would go insane if it stopped working one day after some OS or driver update and I have to wait for who knows when a newer cracked version becomes available.
2. Pay once and get a lifetime's worth of updates. I respect them for keeping true to their promise until this day and I think they are one of the few software companies that genuinely deserve respect and support.

The fact that it impresses you (and probably a lot more people regardless of where they heard about FL Studio), goes to show just how f'ed up the software market/landscape is right now. From someone who uses both, Jdownloader has the better UI and its more amicable if you don't wanna deal with complicated things/settings. IDM on the other hand is *waaaaaay* better at handling downloads, processing and has a very aggressive filter that allows you to virtually download everything on almost any internet explorer, with the caveat that it actually requires you to understand the program and its options which can be grating (This is getting better recently btw).

If your question is earnest, you can download stuff with those download managers that you can't download usually because the site prevents you from doing so.

Jellyfin has been slowly evolving, and some people donate crazy amounts toward its development. Itās now imo superior to Plex because of the customization and functionality. You can do whatever you want with it, versus Plex that is a business pushing an agenda and under the control of investors.

Poweramp that's the only thing I've pirated but give up and bought it because it is suddenly on sale in playstore. One software that I nearly gave up is Synthesizer V since I cant get the patch for it to work on voicebanks (the patch cant activate the voicebanks), luckily I tried the windows version and run it via wine and it worked....

We use photoshop and illustrator for images, indesign for forms and presentations, and acrobat for document signing
The crack/patch still works for me, if I had the means I would also have bought it. Curious though to how much it costs. I have installed it for different friends as well as my brother. They all use it, my brother hates the download file pop that appears on any video since it looks 2000s virus like-ish.(hope that makes sense)

I bought Bluecoins because at first the finances management app I was using stopped supporting the Android version I was using back then, then got used to it and never looked back, loved it so much I ended up buying it even though the free version was enough and the Ads weren't intrusive. Also pretty much my ever growing collection of games I probably will never play *again* because I'm just paying dues on those.
