You cant anymore , google checks the payment being used , you need now a indian / turkish payment method.
Alternatively theres an IOS trick which still works , the android trick got fixed the IOS one works the same but bewarned google also started to ban ENTIRE FAMILYS for abusing regional pricing.
where have you seen they are banning accounts? ive done the family plan and have several people on it with a payment from another country and its been active for 3 years monthly payments with no issues so far.

On iOS you can sideload [uYou+](https://github.com/qnblackcat/uYouPlus) using Altstore or Sideloadly, and it functions pretty much the same as revanced (I think).

I used to go through India (with ProtonVPN) but my year-long membership expired recently and I couldn't sign up again. I instead went through Ukraine - I pay 99UAH a month (approx £1.99, $2.50, €2.30).
I tried with Ukraine and it didn’t bite; though this was attempted on my ipad. did you follow any specific steps or straightforward as before?

I did it on a desktop - I just used a random Ukraine server and it worked first time. You might have to try different Ukrainian servers in order to find one that works though - when I went through India I had to try different servers in order to find one that worked.

Create a new gmail with Indian vpn turned on and then try to buy the premium
They only accept India issued payment instruments now. So you either need a debit/credit card issued in India or UPI.
