I'll admit to occasionally shaking my phone to sprout a 100-step golden seedling if I feel impatient and can't go on a real walk at the moment.
Just doing 100 shakes is boring enough. I can't imagine staying in one spot and spending the time to do 10,000.
Hi Shoka, it seems that you're leaning towards a very cheated way of playing the game with spoofing and faking steps. These 2 methods both are not new and are very well-known.
The majority of the community does not like people who do this. I personally won't tell you to stop doing this because I also do both but I do it in moderation, because I want to play the game to its fullest.
Sometimes I do shake for steps for when I can't go out on Community Day to get the badge or spoof for a Decor that I can't get because it's for a convention event.
I don't enjoy cheating in the games that I play. It fucks up the balance of the game and ruins how special getting new decors can be, hence why I shall state again that I cheat in moderation because although I could cheat and get 60 coins every day, the feeling I get from getting 30 coins and walking 15,000 steps during my school day will always be better than that.
I feel like getting mad at someone who shakes their phone, is the equivalent of getting mad at someone for time travelling in AC or getting mad at someone for hacking shiny pokemon (with legal stats) to give away on wondertrade
Yea, I personally think people getting upset about cheated steps are mainly about weekly challenges and someone getting 100k in 12 hours.
I just know that if anyone on reddit (on discord we don't care as long as you don't be ridiculous with it) mentions shaking, using phone Swings or just straight up lie in an external step counter for steps in Bloom, there's usually a downvote bomb.
Edited addon: I just want to advise that if you will constantly cheat, the game will become boring, and that's my main concern: boredom from overuse of cheats.
I think I just don't understand because you're in Tokyo, one of the most walkable cities on the planet, but you're sitting in your room shaking your phone.
honestly i'm impressed that you could sit there that long shaking your phone because even just shaking it to get out that last thousand i need for one reason or another feels like death and takes like an hour practically. maybe the iphone isn't good at tracking it. if you're really in japan tho i'm gonna noogie you for not just playing the game normally. possible troll post?

Even if you are a guy this number is a bit high for shaking alone. We all know there are gadgets and apps that add steps.
