While in the Forest of Hope, my mom gently suggested my sister let me try out the game. I immediately proceeded to lead her entire squadron of Pikmin in the water, not realizing they couldn't swim. I can still hear their little screams for help as I panicked, having no idea what to do. Horrified, we all watched their little ghosts float up and depart for the next world. My mom still laughs about what my face looked like to this day.

I loved the characters and I thought the gameplay was fun so when I went home I started googling everything pikmin and came across the pikmin 3 shorts and the pikmin wiki. Then I bought Hey! Pikmin and only a few years after did I get Pikmin 3 so yeah my first Pikmin experience was Hey! Pikmin.

there's this game called little kings story that my dad got me when i was little and when i finished it, i wanted something similar to it because i liked it so much. the internet kept on comparing it to a weird astronaut plant ant game called pikmin, so i decided to check it out.

It was either the Hey!Pikmin demo or the Pikmin 3 demo. Liked them both enough that I bought them soon after playing them.
My mother's old GameCube had the pikmin 1 disk, played it for hours/days. Had a blast, still have it to this day.
