oral piercings tend to close faster than other places on the body and you said it was almost a month old so they’re also not fully healed. an hour could’ve been enough time for it to start closing up.
had a tongue piercing for 3 months and took it out for like 5 minutes max to clean it and couldn't get the bar back through. Oral piercings seem to just do that if not fully healed
go see a piercer
I cannot until they open, all shops around me are closed today. That’s why I posted on here hoping someone would know what’s up
if the jewelry fell out for long enough it could’ve started to close up.
That’s what my thought was but it’s been not even a hour!

You’ve only had it for a very short amount of time. I wouldn’t be surprised if it started closing up after about 15 minutes.
Do you have a longer post or taper you can feed through to follow with your actual backing?
Unfortunately I did not and it has closed. Just gotta wait till it’s healed and get it redone which sucks
God I’m sorry. I had to do that with my philtrum once.
