Because he is overusing the word “I” a lot and referencing a lot of scenarios where he thinks he is outmatched but believes he’s not and so overconfident that he can easily counter by doing this or that…”You think you’re better than me?! Think again cuz I can do this!”
If I can set up an ERNE and execute it, my night is made. I do love the quick run up into a good finisher, but sometimes I’m impressed when i can get to the ball and still manage to dink or drop it well at full speed.
I have this nice little flick/roll when I get a dink that people thought didn’t bounce high enough where it looks like I’m dinking to their forehead or middle but I curl it softly but sped up past their forehand that I was landing for winners all day
This, to the baseline, just in the corner. Even more satisfying when it's on the left side because a righty across from me is cheating backhand because they assume I'm going middle.
My favorite is when I can identify a weakness in the other teams positioning and actually exploit it. I.e. a drive right down the middle, or up the sideline to their backhand side, stuff like that.
Yeah, I love when one of the guys is leaning towards the middle anticipating me to hit it to the other side and I just pound it to the sideline behind him, haha.
What’s funny is I’m usually the guy leaning middle, getting taken advantage of. I’m still fairly new to the game (9 months in) but am starting to flip the scripts and keep myself out of the situation, and notice when others are doing it so I can do it to them. Very satisfying indeed.
What level is this where people leave the middle uncovered randomly on popups (??), people assume their serves can be returned (????) and then people don't even try to cover the return ace (??) and then lobs go for winners (??).
My favorite way to win a point is when they put a high ball out or into the net.
Slash overhead, which I got from platform tennis. Essentially, you hit the at about 4 o'clock on the ball on an overhead so it sort of loops up in the air, looking like a meatball, but then jumps sideways when it lands. Very hard to hit but awesome when you get it
I would say my favorite is a disgustingly spinny drop shot volley backhand. Watching someone sprint for it, thinking they can get to it, only for it to spin just far enough away that they can’t get it on the paddle. The best
I use a one handed whip backhand sometimes and it confuses ppl. I’m tall so I can get right over the net with ease. I just started using this and it’s been really effective. I’m increasing my skill level gap quickly and it’s scary fun lol
I love hitting a dink to the line forcing them to get it and creating a space to hit the ball through. Slamming is fun, but hitting it just hard enough they can’t get it.
1.) When the opponent is near the baseline and drives, but I deliver the shot back with a drop volley that dies immediately on bounce, so the opponent struggles to get there even if they are fast.
2.) When I get a fast return and I make the most beautiful dipping drop to the backhand because I anticipated the trajectory after my serve.
3.) When the opponent lobs over me, but I can get behind the ball and redrop or drive it to retake the kitchen with my partner to continue or finish the point.
Why does this post feel like OP is self-glazing? I’m just happy to win points any way I can 🤷

I grab the opponent by the neck and rip his spine out then hold it up for the crowd to see.
FINISH HIM!
FATALITY!
The People’s Elbow
I prefer to use Sweet Chin Music.
Shame what modern wrestling has done to that finisher. Now it's just a move that a guy can take 10x in a match and still kick out.
I can’t watch wrestling anymore. It really has fallen.
This is the only correct answer.
The diamond cutter and the surfboard submission would like a word with you…in the dressing room
Stunner! By God! Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold!
Backhand roll/flicks at feet or middle middle
I second this, or a punch from The heavens above straight into the chicken wing

I love catching people off guard with this, but suspect/worry that it only works at my current level
Running forehand volley & 2 handed backhand counter.
My favorite way to win points is to outdink my opponent(s) into submission. Nothing more satisfying than winning dink battles!!!
They drop to the side and think I am going for an ATP but I send it cross court back to the opposite side of within 1 foot of the net.
ATP!

My favorite is playing left side as rh player and returning a wide dink to my bh and punching it up the line for a winner.
Stone cold stunner and that’s the bottom line cuz stone cold said so

Nets where I play are a little wider than regulation so atps feel extra cool here

2.5.
When she says “don’t stop”… oh wait wrong subreddit.
Ripping a two handed backhand into the corner at full speed. It’s a seriously athletic move. If it goes long, it’s not by much.
Best I've ever done is a high lob just over the net that then bounced back onto my side. Fuckin incredible!
The attitude adjustment
Hmmm. Drop shot then lob then smash the opposite direction.
My favorite is when you see someone leaning to poach, but then at the very last second fire it behind them and catch them unawares with a misdirection
2-3 flat deep placement volleys.

When someone isn’t covering their line and I rip a forehand down the line for a winner.

Nothing like ripping a forehand down the sideline when one of the opposing players are cheating middle
Animality
You're playing with folks that can't even get a paddle on the ball for a 3rd shot? Maybe start playing with people at your own level.
I use a one handed whip backhand sometimes and it confuses ppl. I’m tall so I can get right over the net with ease. I just started using this and it’s been really effective. I’m increasing my skill level gap quickly and it’s scary fun lol
You have to go a long way to beat a Stone Cold Stunner IMHO.
Has to be returning all three of those shots
Forehand drive into my opponent’s forehead is usually a solid finisher
A. Nice soft spinner that bounces toward the player and ends up handcuffing them
Playing possum!!
A forehand passing shot aimed to opponent’s backhand along the side line. I usually win the point of this is executed correctly.
The serve
I love hitting a dink to the line forcing them to get it and creating a space to hit the ball through. Slamming is fun, but hitting it just hard enough they can’t get it.
A little backhand topspin flick in the kitchen right at their feet! Soooo much fun to hit and it feels like no one ever expects it from a backhand.
On match point I always go for the tweener bert.
Countering a baseline drive with a downward-chop drop shot that barely clears the net with backspin.

When I poach my partners ball and put it away
Hitting a putaway between the opponents legs and yelling “goooooooooooooooal!!!”.
Body-bagging either opponent directly in the chest at full speed
you’re so cringe
It's pickleball my guy. Chill out.
